I must be watching this on Southampton TV because there has only been one team on the pitch by the sounds of it

So we scrape through, perhaps Pep will try to add another honour to his list, the only manager to lose three cup finals on the trot

Have to admit, one of the best semifinals for the neutral in years.

Some very glass half full people in this thread.
I quite enjoyed the game and would not have felt robbed if I'd payed dearly to travel to London to watch it

Referee Darren Cann. Sounds like Terry Jones in Life of Brian

Do we now have to rearrange another match because of the premier league wanting to be the end of the season?

Yep saw nothing wrong with the tactics. Always felt we could pull out a screamer to win it.
I would have liked it to go to extra time so some of our normal bench warmers could get more game time.
Southampton were capable of holding us for 60 percent of the game because we were not functioning.
Cameras focusing on sleeping fans at half time in both ends a bit insulting i thought

Given that we don’t play again until a week on Monday I am at a loss at the team selection, smacked of panic, we are talking about superbly trained athletes here, but our demotivating manager is obsessed with “minutes” he transmits a negative attitude towards games, that they are tired, self fulfilling prophecy again.

Today was all about the result. We were the much better team and deserved it.

But it’s further evidence we cannot rotate players in the run-in. Our back-up players are generally not good enough.

Fantastic achievement to get a 4th FA Cup Final in a row. We’re due a win in one of these finals!

There are no more words for Savinho. How the man is a professional footballer, never mind playing for one of the best teams in the world, I’ll never know.

We have a nice break now before Everton. Hopefully everyone gets a rest a we’re rating to go on Monday week.
