We are going to need a hand to get back into the title race.
Why make it hard for yourself ? Have them lose the semi by any score more than one single goal.
Anyone notice how their new Dark Arts corner tactic didn't work either yesterday?
Because I want them to be for fighting for 180 minutes of the semi final, I want them in the 95th minute (ideally the 120th minute, but I don't dare to dream that big) to have Rice, Zubamendi, Odegaard, Gabriel and Gyokeres to be running themselves into the ground trying to equalise.
I did notice they rolled out the Arsenal play book and got the same result.

The first 15 minutes of the game yesterday were worrying but we came through it and gave them a lesson, against a more defined attack we may have had to play catch-up though.
Could we have Sunderland or Leeds next round please?
Left hammer+sickle-moon for a much better shade of blue :)

Sunderland might be an ask

We've played the arse and the dippers in the last 2 games and not conceded a goal. Both had chances in the first 15 minutes and both were then comfortably beaten. There aren't many more defined attacks out there.
Joy to watch yesterday, sone immense performances again. Southampton were unbeaten in 16 before they played last night. Bournemouth are unbeaten in 11. If that's 12 next week we could be on for another domestic treble

Let's hope they get their arses handed to them by Bournemouth, mind you West Ham and Crystal Palace could produce something, maybe the Hammers last hurrah in the PL stopping the tarquins from getting the big cup.

I love your positivity, Stu. Still trying to convince my grandson that the league hasn't gone, yet. And he's only 7 so hasn't been infected with "Typical City"itis yet!

This is "typical City" to them. My grandson is 9 and Arsenal was his 5th Wembley visit
