Thought the way we held our offensive line when kepa had the ball was very good. We were very organised and held our line and tactics brilliantly, it was obviously something that was worked on this week.

Arsenal expecting us to go and press and we didn't and they were at a loss of what to do next

Not expecting that at all.
As mentioned the best football we have played this season in that second half.

Also loving that we pissed of Ben White, what a permatanned tosser he is.

Wasn't a fan of Micah "arsenal fan" Richards punditry today, you could see he was an arsenal fan. Would have preferred Joe Hart to counteract Ian Wrights bias.

Boshing down some pints after a top afternoon at Wembley and an ace curry with the gang.

Season complete for me:

Been to a game we scored 10, we beat the Dippers at Klanfield and we've won a pot against those NFL style defensive wankers Arsenal.

Up the blues. Enjoy the night.

I agree if the idea was to have a pundit from each side and Rednap as a neutral it didnt really work. Dont mind Wrighty at all and Rednaps ok but i just dont take to Richards. He's toned down the clown act but its still too much. Hart would have been good or Onuoha. Or dare i say Steph Houghton

I thought their tactic at set pieces was quite interesting of 3 attackers standing together at the end of the line then running to central positions behind our defenders. It's not easy to defend against.
The grappling tactic was appalling though.
There was one early opportunity for Haaland to head at the nearpost and he missed it but i thought on the replay that he was pushed in the back. Never checked on VAR . Not seen it again but i thought penalty at the time

Ended up on a table next to reindeers last night after the game. Thought it was odd he wasn't with the team.

Wasn't friendly and didn't tip. Asked him where the team was and he said he didn't know.

Just got back from a fantastic weekend in London made a million times better by the game yeaterday. Atmosphere was electric inside in our end and after the opening 10 mins there was only 1 team in it.
From the early Trafford save to the Khus/ Ake partnership, the Nunes assist, Rodri and Bernardo dictating the midfield, the brilliance of Cherki, the fantastic front 3 and the left back who had Saka in his pocket and then popped up with 2 goals.
As the gooners on the train back to our hotel said " Pep schooled Arteta

The Dutch lads are a bit odd at times.

I was a fan of his positive attitude and I know it comes off as him being an idiot but a POSITIVE idiot.

Then I saw his quote that he's only a City fan for the cameras and he's an Arsenal fan when the cameras are off.

So... I had a chat with Ben Mee after his appearance on CityTV. Articulate, insightful, proper City fan.

Amazing weekend down at Wembley for my daughter's first final. She absolutely loved it and made a poster to stick on her wall once we got home on the Monday, detailing the game and us lifting the trophy. My first final was Gillingham '99, hers was last weekend - a bit of a difference!

We had great seats as well which made it better.

And special mention to the players that ALL gave 1000000% Lovely to see them run through brick walls for the club and fans again. Nunes, Cherki, Doks, Semenyo, Trafford, Khus - all brilliant.

Can't thank this club enough for that experience that will stay with me forever.

It was brilliant wasn't it.
Mine was a Cat 4 £50 ticket so not the best but i was top tier in line with the corner flag so great view for the 2 goals.
I stayed overnight in Elstree and on the train to Wembley there was loads of Gooners dead confident on what they were going to do to us.
On the way back funnily enough hardly saw any.
The 6 players you mentioned were fantastic and I reckon you've not mentioned the best 3- Nico, Rodders and Bernardo.

Amazing day. We were in 233 so paid a bit extra, but the view was brilliant and we were on the front row. I don't think it matters where you sit for these occasions, as long as you're surrounded by blues it'll be a good day.

We stay at Beaconsfield and get the train in, it's around 25 mins so not too bad.

Only negative was the sheer amount of Arsenal fans in our block. Rows and rows. They were fairly quiet until 2-0 and then they started with the abuse and verbals. Eventually (took the stewards long enough) got kicked out and I believe one was arrested for assaulting a City fan on their way out.

That being said, it didn't ruin the day for us and as my daughter said, "I think the Arsenal fans are just upset that they're losing"

That's fucking excellent.

You absolutely have to get her a Winners '26 shirt, she'll hold onto that forever.
