Goater was an honest player, put the effort in and was good for us. Not massively skillful but you knew he would try his best.

At least Arsenal will come at us, which might actually be a blessing in disguise.

We are hopeless at breaking the low block.

None of the last 15 months are how Pep likes it, Hugo Viana over to you now, Stick or Twist… And my last season before the first Grandson arrives
We have somehow managed to be second!!!! All Arsenal need to do at Wembley is get a set piece 1-0 game over. As are my carefree away days.

P.S what would we do for a fit KDB now, Haaland Foden Rodri don’t look the same ! with genuine World Class no longer around. HUGO Yildiz from Juventus would be a start.

We are our own worst enemies when it comes to breaking a low block with our backwards and sideways passing.

No-one gets the worse end of the stick than we do on this because we compact them over and over and over faffing about until we lose the ball and some greyhound forward from their team exposes our out of position defence.

We need a fast winger(or two) and an ambitious midfield passer and Erling will get 50 league goals.

Next sunday perhaps, but in the league i think the Arse will just defend.

I was lucky enough to catch parts of the game while doing something else, and by the end of it I almost found myself congratulating my own good fortune for not having watched the whole thing.

Because, in truth, last night may well turn out to have been a fantastic result, though perhaps not for the reasons that first come to mind. Hugo Viana standing beside our manager for the entire match, listening to every instruction. For 45 minutes it was the same message, over and over, telling Lijnders to move the ball from side to side, repeating the same pattern again and again, like Sisyphus condemned to push the rock uphill.

And if Viana is not sitting with Khaldoon today, calmly explaining that the manager has truly lost the plot, then perhaps we deserve every bit of what is happening to us right now.

I think we are just hopeless. West Ham were giving us loads of space and opportunities last night. We did nothing with it. Far too slow in the build up, needless passing and too afraid to spread it around quickly over any distance.

Haaland was a joke, he had 2 good chances and fluffed them both. Our keeper was equally as bad with the only thing he was called upon to do . A giant of a man left wafting at their only corner. Semenyo asked to mark their big CB? We are a joke all round. We will shit ourselves against Arsenal

Maybe we'll shit ourselves against Arsenal like we did at their place this season when they scraped an injury time equaliser after Haaland's goal.Maybe we'll shit ourselves
like at Anfield, Haaland goal and assist.
I'm going- looking forward to it. Assume you won't be watching.

I am sorry to break it to you, but not Arse are the worst team to win the league (if they are going to do it).

We are.

In the 2011/2012 season after 32 games we were 8 points behind rags on level games too. Just saying.
