don't think it's a coincidence that Nico is back and we are playing more direct again

Nico G is quality. Nico O'Reilly in midfield helps as well, in my opinion

Hope springs eternal for some -

Don't worry Newcastle, Man City are awful in second halves, plenty of time for 5 goals!

Better keep this up in the 2nd half. No more of this foot off the gas, inviting the opposition back in shite!

Someone should lock the dressing room door before baldy arrives

Towards the end of the half we started to pass it around trying to run the clock down but all the time losing a good position. Eventually we retreat oand lose the ball and they mount a very good attack in seconds. It just epitomises where we are as a team.
We will not lose this tie but i think Newcastle will make a game of it in the second half. Nothing to lose they'll lump everything forward and Dan Burn will cause trouble

We’re winning this handily because Newcastle had to go for it and are not playing a low block with quick counter attack. A couple of out goals were also pretty lucky, and they’ve missed some decent chances.

I wouldn’t read too much into this result…

Get Lewis on for Nunes, Nypan on for Foden, he literally could not be worse, that’s probably the worst 45 I’ve seen from Foden, absolute gash. Marmoush has run more today than Haaland has in the last 10 games, he really has to step up a few gears. All that said we are 3-0 up and going to Wembley !!!!!
