Pep Has To Go The End Of This Season

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

No idea what happened with the post below.

Trying to quote and it is posting another's thread.

I agree Alonso achievement at Leverkusen is underrated. Winning the League by building a side instead of throwing £1 Billion at the squad.

Bringing players from other European/UK Clubs on the cheap and selling for big money also.

We think the "Lilly Whites" would have put up with Pep shit for 2 Seasons.

The football has been mostly dull turgid insipid shit for a good while.

He put out that defence today for Madrid he would have been sacked at full time.

Part the problem is Pep arrogance. He thinks only the Classico matters. When it comes to City v United he just sees another game.

He would never pull the shit he pulls with us with Barcelona or Madrid. He wouldn't last as long as Alonso.

Pep reeling out the same old excuses “they had more energy” all the same bulshit about tiredness, but he picks Bernardo every game. The narcissistic cunt blames everything & everybody but himself. In addition there are early signs Semenyo following in the footsteps of Grealish passing back & sideways, his normal game is to directly attack the defender. If anybody thinks we are winning anything this season they are delusional.

This squad we have isn't any smaller than any other teams. He just doesn't use the squad in the games that are meaningless. Haaland starting against Exeter?! What the actual fuck is that about? Play the best team for the important games. Rotate the likes of Bern, who are dead on their feet. He does this shit on purpose

We don't have a small squad, per se, but we have a squad full of sicknotes. Bobb, Stones, Kovacic, Phillips. Four players who could be replaced with fit, quality players.

Fair play to Stupot – he always faces the music after a disgusting performance, no hiding. But the rest of the "Pep is GOD" brigade? They all slithered straight back under their cowardly fucking rocks the second the dust started flying and stay away from the board.....we all know who these people are !!
Well, the dust isn’t settling anytime soon – not from me and plenty of others.
And as for Baldy trotting out "tiredness" as one of the reasons we got embarrassed by the worst United team we’ve ever seen? What a total twat. Pathetic excuse from a Manager living on borrowed time.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

We have been shit for nearly 2 Seasons. FACT.

Some fans are making out yesterday was just a one off.NO IT WASNT.

The Football has been slow insipid turgid out of date shit for a good while. Even wins have been mainly like a visit to the dentist. The obsession with making every attack involve `100 pointless passes to create a chance. It isn't entertainment it is fucking torture to watch. It sends you to sleep.

If Elon Musk had 11 Robots playing Football it would be like watching City. Soulless and robotic..

Yesterday we were lucky not to lose 6-0

Pep Guardiola on Abdukodir Khusanov: “He’s top! We are really pleased. Especially he’s top because after Arsenal he went a month without playing one minute and you can imagine how he behaved in the training sessions and the locker room. That defines Khusanov. Always I define the players in the bad moments, how they behave.

Weren’t we led to believe he went off injured in the Arsenal game and that’s why he was unavailable after that?
Because from this, it sounds like he was simply taken off, Nunes came on, chaos followed, and then, for some reason, he was left out for a month.

He was definitely injured. Don't forget Pep often talks sheer nonsense in press conferences

Same shit, different player. Last week he was telling us how class Lewis is. He's the king of lip service and it's boring as fuck

Regular as clockwork, one poor performance and the knives are out from the same predicatable people.

But again lets have a little perspective here - this shit from Pep in the derby isn't new.

Saturday was an awful awful performance, however let's not pretend it's the first time this happened in a Derby under Pep.

Mourinho - W3, D1, L2
Solskjaer - W4, D1, L4
Rangnick - W1, L0
Ten Hag - W4, D1, L2
Amorim - W1, D1, L1
Carrick - W0, L1

His record against the rags overall has been dreadful considering how shit they have been throughhout his tenure - showing off my pet hate with him (and well done to Capello for calling it out), that the occasion gets to him and he's till trying to be too clever for his own good for a 1 off game, rather than just playing what the team understand and can execute - it's just another league game at the end of the day, against an inferior team.

His record shows how badly HE is affected by the bigger games, exactly as we've seen in his Champions League stupidity - but, to the point of my post, we've lived with this for the last 10 years and done pretty well despite - so are we really going to hang him out to dry for this?

Or do we look at the fact that Arsenal and Villa bottled it again and reflect that all things considered, we're still in a bloody good place for the run in to the end of the year in a highly transitional season with 14/15 new players to integrate?

However, with Gueyhi and Semenyo now he has no excuses as soon as this injury issue eases - he really should be expected to achieve at the very least a domestic double from where we now stand - anything less and I'll be ready for a change in the summer.

Some accuse Pep of not understanding the size of the occasion on derby day and just treating it like any other game, while Spartacus you say the occasion has got to him. Which of these is it?

I don't believe it's about the Derby - the issue is clearly that on certain occasions (CL final or last FA Cup final for example) or against certain opponents (United and Spurs being key ones), Pep is trying TOO hard for the occasion, the midfield or defence gets overrun with an unfamilar lineup or changes to tactics, and by the time we're in the shit, we can't then even fall back to our usual way of playing.

United and Spurs show that it's not about it being the derby, both mid/upper-table teams who, despite having had 5 or 6 managers and a high turnover of players, we underperform against these two clubs consistently over the last 10 years - the only constant is our manager's overthinking, baffling team selections and tactics, and I think this means we "seem" to not be up for these games, because Guardiola's fucking around causes us to be unable to compete on our terms.

It's mad, because generally Guardiola's tactics make our team more than the sum of the parts - but on these occasions his tactics seem to do the opposite.

Ok but what is the significance of Spurs? I can understand it being true of a derby but Spurs? Why them and not Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, or even Villa?
