Awful really , Lescott and Ferdi cannot string a sentence together. Berni gets interviewed after the match and speaks clearly and with an excellent vocabulary. Better than the interviewer and the pratts doing the post match summary. So Bern knows how to goad the refs.

The image they showed for Lescott’s summary was one that nobody had seen, and made for entertainment purposes.

The image was shown on ITV. The line for the Newcastle player looks a little bit wobbly though , about 4 centimetres off.

Not sure who said it but someone on here said they think Haaland's carrying an injury. I can't see anything else that would account for his sudden disinterest.

It was me, and after watching him today, I stand by it. Even my son commented on it at Newcastle tonight, he was fucked at times just making runs.

What a bloody performance. Gutsy sowth moments of quality at a tough ground. Would have taken a 0-0 before kickoff so coming away with 2 and should have been 3 is class.

Up there for the biggest travesty of a VAR call of all time. Every corner every week cunts hold Haaland so he can’t move and today he’s punished for it. Why was he not moving? Cos the twat has an arm around him and handful of shirt.

Up the fucking blues!!!!!
Tracking back is overrated.

Didn’t see the second half but by all accounts the 2 young defenders were immense ( in Khus case , he’s hardly put a foot wrong since he came back into the side.

Will the bald one drop him again ?

If you didn't see it , why comment ? Come on Carl , give it a rest with this Baldy crap and for example, Khus.

I will say. I saw great movement from Alleyne and Khus that for me, is a relief - and may be will be a wake up call for Dias, Gvardiol and certainly Ake .

Why Comment ? maybe because I watched the fucking highlights  – that's more than enough to comment isn't it ?
Khus and Alleyne looked rock solid in the second half from what I read up on them. Khus has been nearly faultless since coming back into the side (the manager even called him "incredible" after Brighton). – that's exactly why I asked if the fucking bald one will drop Khus now."Baldy" is just harmless fucking banter, so pack in the wokeness bullshit.

Khusanov was 'dropped' when he picked up a bad injury early on. It takes time and then other people had the slots. Not rocket science and looks now as if it's worked very well.

At last Pep!!! It's only taken ten years but he's finally had a go at the refs.

Semenyo also, he's only been here two games and he can see the corruption and comment on it.

"It should have been 3-0 but we are quite used to this at the moment," said Silva.

After the game, ITV Showed a low angle view towarfs the LH post to show Haaland's feet position. Lescott referred to Haaland's position next to Pope who had become the next to last defender. This morning the reports are about him tussling and preventing Thiaw reachingvthe ball,ie interferring with play, but i'd see 2 players holding each other 50/50. Either way 5 mins analysis means it was too close to rule out a goal

Whether injured or not, he hardly had a touch in the first half but in the second when it opened up, he looked to be trying to chase and makes runs but looked dead on his feet. Plenty of gestures that he wasnt getting a pass etc. 1 goal in the lsst 6? Last goal from open play was Dec 20th. A barren spell for him

He'll score Saturday, he's got a great record against the rags.
At the start of the season it was all doom and gloom on here about we were knackered without Haaland, he was papering over the cracks and if we lost him we'd be screwed. Now after not scoring from open play for 3 weeks he's getting hammered but we're unbeaten in 13 games.
Great result last night, Max MOTM for me. The subs came on at the right time and did well and Ait Nouri's little cameo bodes really well for the future.
Looks like another trip to Etihad South in March.

He gets dropped when the ‘ big boys ‘ are back - using his injury as an excuse only goes so far - he came back strong and still got dropped.

Some fans will point to one mistake he makes in a game and ignore the other shit he excels in - Días and Ake and even Gvardiol make numerous mistakes per game yet they keep their place in the side !

Go figure !

Foden has a great record against the rags as well but he , just like Haaland, are currently stinking the place out.

No idea what team pep will put out this time around - can never second guess his line ups.
