Semenyo, - best debut since Aguero? Very impressed by his pace, strength , directness and his engine. He was all over that pitch today . Superb.

Everyone played their part today today except for dare i say Haaland

Agreed - Haaland was terrible I thought - there was an easy pass to a player in the box and he fucked it up.

It’s not that he’s not scoring , it’s more his shit control and shit movement.
He should have eaten some turkey instead of a sheep’s dick at Xmas as he’s gone backwards.

First City game for my lad. He was starting to think he was an Arsenal fan so a quick slap and home tie FA Cup so easy to get tickets. 10-1 tonic delivered. Became a blue soon as he saw the pitch and Haaland warming up.

I feel sorry for Haaland. I don’t know what he’s asked to do but I assume it’s to occupy their defence to make space for others. He seems tired, negative, a bit moody. Something isn’t quite right.

Cherki was flicking around, most didn’t come off but he still opened it up in the middle.

Smiled when Nico came on, such a class act. Absolute world class player in there.

Lewis did ok and 3rd tier opposition.

Some good youth team debuts and it was great to see us not lift off.

Said to my lad you probably won’t see an 11 goal game ever again, certainly not with us getting 10 of them. Roll on 4th round. Macclesfield at home would be perfect.

"I think a lot of good performances today," said Lijnders. "A lot of good individual performances. I think when the team plays like that it becomes easier for the individual, but Antoine is settling well.

"He is a humble guy and we have followed him for a long time, but he brings something to the frontline - what we really want and what we need.

"He can attack quick, he wants to chase, he is a guy who doesn't stop. I think you see today that he can adapt quite quickly to our style. It's nice to have him with us."

Nice that from Lijnders. No sly digs

One of my long term silly dreams was to see us score 10. Was 3 when we did Huddersfield and only seen it years later on vhs. With how good we’ve been for a decade and how many times we’ve had massive HT leads it’s about time haha.

Silly thing to want but this really made my day.

Always like to look up player ratings in the media post match, see it it matches up with my own reading of the game. For a 10 - 1 drubbing most will have had a comfortable game on our side but i thought Khusanov was better than rated. I thought Lewis was good but not the star of the show. For me that was Semenyo.

Rodri was very good. An excellent display of control and simple things done quickly. Haaland was put in the shade yesterday, perhaps that is what is required

Thought he spoke very well in the post match interview. Informative about what is happening behind the scenes as well . Makes a change from trying to interpret Peps thoughts
