Saturday 3pm KO

Not sure if we’ve ever played Exeter before. Whatever side we put out, we should win comfortably.

Please, no more injuries

3-0. Semenyo and 2 academy kids to score

We'll likely do the same, although my daughter has coaching at 4pm so will miss the second half

4pm on a Saturday takes the piss for kids (parents) weekends. What's up with the morning. Fair enough if its a one off but if that's a regular slot, does not do anyone any favours

It's my fault to be fair, her game was called if this morning (they call the games for the slightest reasons) and I've left it late to get her in for a session so that was the only slot left. We're at City womens tomorrow otherwise I'd have tried for early on tomorrow.

They are highest positioned fan-owned club in the English league tier, sitting 14th in League 1.

This game was not selected for TV denying them much needed additional revenue. As it stands they are set to make between £250k & £400k.

They are bringing 8000 supporters and allegedly have asked us to give them a bigger slice of the gate, something not publicly acknowledged by City (local paper talk in Devon).

The next snippet sent shivers down my spine when I heard it on TS......

Their Manager Gary Caldwell, was in that Wigan team and he jointly lifted the cup when we lost the 2013 Final! If there was ever a banana skin... the headlines tomorrow would be unthinkable if they actually managed to beat us!!

Then thank hell it's not on TV. Imagine how many times the commentator will say that!

Think it would be a nice gesture if we gave them the full gate receipts, minus our costs. They had to have a fan whip-round not too long ago as they were struggling, financially. Not sure we're so close to failing FFP that it'd make much difference to us, but it would go a long way to helping them survive.

Be very surprised if we didn’t make some financial gesture to Exeter regarding the gate receipts

Nah, there's nowhere near the same appetite for Palace bashing as City bashing. Which is a whole industry

We're not.

Manchester City will not offer Exeter extra money from Saturday’s third-round FA Cup tie. The financially troubled League One club revealed this week they had asked the Premier League club for a greater proportion of the gate receipts as a “statement of solidarity”.

Exeter, whose supporters’ trust is the club’s majority shareholder, will take 8,000 fans to a sold-out Etihad Stadium to face the seven-time FA Cup winners. Each club gets 45% of gate receipts, with the other 10% taken by the Football Association, in line with competition rules. It is estimated ticket sales will generate between £250,000 and £400,000 for Exeter.

And good for us. 90% of their fans will likely bang on about 115 and hate us. Fuck everyone apart from the Blues. It's not up to us to resolve the fuck ups of badly ran clubs.
