He should fuck off for his own sake. Imagine starting to play, excellent performances on the right, he gets injured (we don't know exactly what happened) then comes back to see Nunes played again on the right because Pep needs to make a point. When he played as a RB he looked a natural, better than Nunes will ever be in that position.

At the moment he is a 40 mil liability. Either start playing him or fuck him off.

I am ok with rotation of the squad, I think that is the key on winning trebles/quadruples etc, but keep a settle eleven in the run in at the end. But to be able to rotate that, you need to have players that will come in and make a difference. Quality players.
Doku did that yesterday, Sav didn't. Ake played and almost cost us the game at the end, like everyone predicted.

Like someone said a few days: we are still riding our own luck when there are still a lot of things we have to solve.

He's a 21 year old kid and is actually a centre back. Not sure why he needs to fuck off for his own sake because he's not getting a game at RB

Ive been really impressed with him when he's played and agreed he deserves to play more often but no need for such over the top over reaction's all the time

We'll be starting to play 2 a week now for the rest of the season (hopefully) and everyone will play more (and then you can complain that the manager is making too many changes ).

O'Reilly been poor the last 2 games now. Probably due a rest as he's been run into the ground.

34 million to sit on the bench for season ?
It’s great being a cheque book manager when you can do whatever you like with new signings hey !

Anyway - I’m more annoyed with Peps insistence on playing that useless turd from Brazil.

Still fuming.

He actually favours the right side of CB and has been used over his career on the right as well - so no issue with pep playing him there (even though he never ever plays him )

Gvardiol is also a CB and was rated in the top 5 in Europe in that position — then pep got hold of him and he was made to play in the left spot even though he’s admitted it’s not his best area of the pitch to play in.

Edit - he was actually rated in the top 5 not only in Europe but the world.

Well done Pep.

O'Reilly got one of our highest ratings against Forest - 7.12 based on actual stats from the game, our fourth best player that match.

Josko is a left side centre back, dias is our right side centre back. Khusanov can play rightback.
O Reilly is fine at left back. O REilly is tired because Pep has him pushing way up the pitch playing left wing when Doku or Sav isnt in front of him.
Ake can be a sub to be used as and when. He has lost a fair bit of pace. Nunes cannot defend , he cant tackle or clear his lines effectively and does not read the game from a defensive aspect. Play him right side of midfield if anywhere at all but tbh he hasn't done much since his arrival. Fans saying he's getting better but fuck me he started completely wank - a blind squirrel finds a nut occassionally. Silva was shown up for pace and strength last night. Only Rodri, Gvardiol, DIas and Reilly can tackle , the rest are soft. Haaland had a poor night, missed a sitter, didnt run or link up but was easily snuffed out by their defenders ( a common fault of his). They played well, we were poor. Pep's played them once he knew what they can do. Changes the team that beat them. The are big physical and fast, and we weren't. Great we got a point but we've lost ground against a team that could have been beaten .

Agree with this, but add to it the fact Sunderland had half a dozen at the AFCON and it seems worse

The truth is Dias and Josko are played into the ground because, for an unknown reason, we insist on keeping Stones and Ake, who are two of the softest cunts out there.

Can't fault Bernardo's effort and grit, but he's showing his age now. He's a battler. Just wish he was younger, and 4 inches taller

Imagine looking to Haaland for leadership in that game and seeing him lying on the deck for most of it because he couldn't handle one of the shittest CBs in the Prem.

As good as he is, he lacks competition at his position. A player who can put pressure on him.

Yes in theory, competition for places is the ideal situation. The problem is that anyone, perhaps from the Academy or another signing who is anywhere near his standard, and there just simply isn't anyone, they certainly would be too good to be playing second fiddle to him and would thus be playing elsewhere. I think we historically have done pretty well when he's been out. There are some games that he just doesn't seem arsed and that needs to be addressed by the manager.

I wonder how many City fans would prefer Kun to Haaland. The latter has amazing stats, but Kun was a fuck of a centre forward, we’re very lucky to have had both of them
