Selling rodri in the summer lol

Rodri still injured?

Read that in the beeb gossip. If true, bit of a double whammy in that we are confident in his long term rehabilitation which is what we all want as he was, is, the best in his position in the world no-one comes close. With a contract extension, it also keeps his price tag up should he not get back to his former levels? I'm definitely in the hope he returns to full fitness camp, who wouldn't be,. I also expect a few more bumps with injuries after his lay off but I'd be surprised if we let this go past this season which is where the extension may be coming from?

Pep Guardiola does not know when Rodri will be able to return to a Manchester City matchday squad as his hamstring issues persist. The Spanish midfielder will definitely sit out the midweek trip to Fulham and could also miss the home game with Sunderland at the weekend as the Blues refuse to rush their star back.

Off you pop lad, it's been emotional. Some of the women's team have come back from ACL surgery and been fine. Gundo was fine. Plenty of players come back and can play. This is in his head

To be fair Mase, you've no idea whether he is injured or just a mental block coming back from the injury. Just because one person came back in one way does not mean this is the only way to return from this specific injury, maybe he had previous issues with the hamstring that the ACL is making more serious.

To be fair mate I'm just going off what Pep himself has said. He's used the phrase "recover mentally" a few times now when discussing Rodri.

To be honest it looks like he has a mental block since coming back. Noticed he is not comfortable at all going into tackles.

There's also the added bonus that his other half is studying to be a surgeon which could be her telling him to man the fuck up or more likely, take your time and get yourself sorted. Seems that this season is play one, miss 2-3. Can see us making a call in the summer if there are further breakdowns, fuck all we can do other than give him the time he needs but there has to be a limit to it. He's the best that was undoubtedly

We don't know its in his head, doesnt strike me as that kind of person. Hamstrings are repeat offenders, difficult to mend and then be able to play at 100%

We could have received 150 million quid + combined for Sav and Rodri in the summer window – Rodri has been injured all season and still sidelined , the other struggling badly to adapt and looking like a bag of shit every time he enters the field.
Instead, both were kept on because Pep decided he wanted to keep the squad intact. Fair enough when it works, but that level of control cuts both ways.
If the managers bonus grows end of the season by trophies won, it’s not fucking unreasonable to ask why there isn’t a reciprocal financial penalty when his judgement directly costs the club nine figure transfer fees and leaves us carrying passengers like these fuckign two who are on massive wages ??!!
Sporting directors exist for a reason. Letting one man - even Pep – have the final say on who stays and who goes is Bullshit !! and yes..its Pep who has the final say...if he didn't he would have fucked off ages ago.

I think we should keep him, but search for a replacement.
Showing him the door will be bad pr and poor from our club.

Get rid of fucking fatty Philips.

Not us, but surprise, surprise, another injury for the best right back of all time, TAA. This time he will pe out until 2026.
How many are now from the mentality monsters that were shite or injury prone after leaving?

Except Diaz, I can't recall another staying fit?
