The BBC have excelled themselves for derby day.
Not only have they done a (crap) article titled "What issues need fixing at Man City?", complete with a HYS, but they've also stuck it on their main news page.

He does have that look of a nonce. Why does anyone do that? Mystifying.

Didn't want to sully the Haton thread with this, but BBC News headline currently, "Beckham and Fury lead tributes to champion boxer Ricky Hatton after his death aged 46"

Beckham and Fury - both huge rags.

BBC absolute rag lickers, no matter what the situation is.

Another loss posted by the rags. Just the £33M this year. At least it's an improvement on the £113M last year.

Still the media haven't properly explained how they have managed to pass the PSR scores. Their losses over the last 6 years are horrific

2025 33M
2024 113M
2023 29M
2022 115M
2021 92M
2020 23M

I've just used the BBC's "Ask us" service how they haven't failed PSR. I'll await their reply with baited breath...

I've awaited it since 2022 when the 3 year cumulative loss was £230M against PSR allowances of £115M

From what I understand, the number reported is the topco which is not assessed for PSR (same as CFG isn't) - and the actual financial situation of the 'Football Club' is less of an issue - so it's precisely the same creative accounting and shifting of losses we're accused of.

Certain things are excluded from the PSR calcs too and a lot of costs relating to the partial sale to scruffy Jim have been excluded (been some noise made about that from fans of other clubs too). It's always been said that spending on infrastructure like the stadium etc was exempt but think there has been a grey area around some of the stuff they excluded to ensure they passed.

I'll wager good money the rags are guilty as fuck and it's been glossed over. They spent fuck on infrastructure before this year.

Servicing debts has never been a part of FFP, which is why they get away with what seems like astronomical losses.

However what Chelsea are doing should be looked at, and not the 74 charges from pre-Boely, but the shit they are getting up to right now seems dodgy as fuck.

The rags are now in debt to the tune of £1.1 BILLION

Can't imagine a British club has ever owed that much. And I can only think of Barca in world football who has possibly owed this much.

Wonder where the money for the new stadium is coming from? Though it seems to have gone a bit quiet on that front just of late. Surely the whole new stadium thing wasn't just a smokescreen to deflect the shortcomings of the Ratcliffe era and the redundancies..................

Dennis Tueart has been in town this week, he played for Derry City in 1985 to help them get into Irish league, very popular here.

Yeah, I only found out about it when I first moved here about 20 years ago. Guy up the avenue is on the board of Derry City & he told me when he found out I was a City fan.
