Pep Has To Go The End Of This Season

Pep Has To Go The End Of This Season

Postby zabbadabbado » Tue Oct 28, 2025 10:34 am

As my title says, Pep has to go at the end of this Season.

We are winning fuck all this year. It will be a miracle if we do.

We are a right fucking mess. The Football has become dire, like really dire, boring slow insipid shit every game, no exceptions. Even wins have become difficult to watch. The players resemble over coached Robots. Any individuality and spontaneity coached out of them, to play a system that never works against decent sides. It is terrible. You take Halland Donnarumma out of our side you are looking at a team that would not even make top 6.We all know it.

There were times during Sunday game at Villa i was not even sure what Pep game plan was to begin with. It was like watching Under 8s. Literally no midfield against an average side who play on the counter for over an Hour. It was insane, he has set us up like this before, notably against the Rags in a Derby at the Swamp, when we should have been 4-0 down at half time. It defies belief a Manager on £10,000 000 a Season can only come up with a game plan that actually plays to opponents strengths.

Our fitness has become another major issue for me. I think we spend that much time in training doing only slow walking football passing drills it has been neglected. Any side with a bit of intensity we fold like a Deck Chair, we can not compete, we are physically unable to do so.

We let Pep Head the major rebuild before he walks off in to the distance to go Golfing. Look at the State of all the signings he has made, not cheap either. And still even now no recognised Right Back, still he fucks about with the defence moving players left and Right. I have a theory he deliberately doesn't sign any recognised Left/Right Back so he can feed his desire to fuck about rotating players in to those positions. When we win it is his genius. Pep refusing £70,000 000 from Spurs for Savinho,( let that sink in). Literally 99% of City fans can see the Guy is shit. Now Pep plays him out of spite to try and prove he knows better than everyone else. He literally produces nothing. Echeveri should be here and Savinho at Pep Brother Club, Pep brother doesn't want Duds obviously.

We have the Rodri issue still going on. Sadly he will likely never recover enough to return to what he was because of that type of injury. Not like it didn't fuck last season up for us. Yet still a Season later all we have is Gonzalez. How the fuck does a top Tier Manager allow this to even happen ?

I have mentioned before that People connected to the Club have said it has all become very un professional after once being envied globally, Jobs for the Guys sort of set up. We even managed to bring in a worse set piece Coach than the last( that took some fucking doing).

Talk of us giving Pep a shit load of the Etihad Sponsorship in January, after giving him a shit load in the last 2,3, transfer Windows that have all turned in to "Ones for the future" the terminology used to define bad signings. That would be the worst mistake we could make at this stage. It could put us in the wilderness for 10 years.

Our problem now is a Manager and system whose best days have come and gone. Throwing more money at the problem will not solve the bigger issues we have going on at the Club. And to be honest Pep is incompetent in the transfer Market. We can not trust him with our future anymore. We are going to need a "Fire Sale" when he goes.

All good things come to an end, we will all be forever grateful for the success Pep delivered. Now is the time though to say thanks for the memories Pep. We need to move in a different direction for the good of the Club. The Decline actually started in our last Title winning season. We saw that standards had begun to drop that Season, the recruitment had become bad. The system was being countered much more effectively by the top teams. Last Season it got much worse. I think we need to prepare our selves for the first Season in over 10 years where i think the Rags might actually finish higher than us in the League. That will come as a bit of a shock to some. It is where we are likely to be at after.3 Seasons of dropping standards. No room for sentimentality living on past Glory in Football.

We can not go another season of this shit insipid football, we need major changes.

Starting with the Manager.

I gave him 5 games and then gave him some more due to a 3 or 4 match run of wins but the reality is the wins were papering over the cracks...we are still inconsistent.
Pep's style still remains possession being 'a must have' (avg. 65%+ per game), but we still have fewer high-line risks and more sideways passing. In the Villa loss, we had 68% possession but only 8 shots (2 on target), dominated midfield but couldn't break down a counter-attacking setup ( same old same old )
Against "decent sides" like Villa or the 0-0 Utd draw at Old Trafford in April 2025, we have struggled to convert dominance into goals, winning just 2 of our last 5 vs. top-6 rivals - same old same old.!!!
If it wasn't for Donna and Haaland then we would all be suicidal !! the Villa midfield Baldy put out was just inept management - it was overrun for over 60 fuckign minutes and he changed nothing.

I can see Arsenal running away with it and if I see Man United above us this season Pep can hand in his resignation.

##### By the way - this manager gets 22 to 30 million pounds a year from his package with City #####

Salary : Fixed annual pay for managerial duties.£20 million Equivalent to ~£385,000 per week. Highest in the PL; unchanged from 2023 extension.

Performance Bonuses Tied to achievements like league titles, CL progress, domestic cups, and individual awards (e.g., Manager of the Year). Up to £5 million Includes win-related incentives; e.g., ~£2-3m for PL title, £1m+ for CL win. Total package can hit £25m with max bonuses.Image Rights & Endorsements Revenue from use of Pep's likeness in club marketing, kits, and ads (e.g., Puma, Etihad). Often structured as a separate entity for tax efficiency.£2-5 million (estimated)Not explicitly broken out in recent reports, but historical City image rights deals (e.g., 2018 FFP scrutiny) generated club-wide millions, with managers taking a cut. Pep's global brand boosts this via sponsorship tie-ins; exact split undisclosed but bundled into "total compensation." Older leaks (2018) showed ~10-15% of salary as image-related.Other Perks & Benefits Housing, travel, staff bonuses (outgoing), and loyalty incentives.£500,000-£1 million . Club covers private jet/flights, family relocation, and Etihad/Puma perks. No specific loyalty bonus reported for 2025 extension.Total Annual Earnings from City Combined package.£22-30 million Base + bonuses + image/perks. Varies by success; e.g., £25m average in title-winning years. Excludes personal endorsements (Adidas, etc., adding £10m+ globally).
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Can I get you fellas to provide us with a shortlist of candidates. We can schedule a zoom call. With Feran and Khaldoon. The owner will join the conversations when the candidates are selected. Cheers HR.

There are a few good Managers out there doing great things on limited budgets.

Surely you can not be happy with the slow insipid, turgid, shit we have been playing since the beginning of last season. It is fucking awful to watch.

We are going to start struggling to fill the stadium if this Coma inducing style continues., it isn't sexy to watch any more, it is a total turn off.

Time to move on, the Fairy Tale is over Pep and his style are now stinking the Club out.

Iraola at Bournemouth and Glasner at Palace have to be under serious consideration.

Why!!! Can't be because of his fantastic attacking football when his GD so far this season is plus 5 to our boring plus 10.
Can't be what he achieved last season when Glasner, and Nunes achieved European football ahead of him.
Can't be because of his previous managerial record in Cyprus where he was sacked without winning a game and in the Spanish 2nd Division.
He's had a good start this season, I'm pretty confident we'll be ahead of them after Sunday's game.

But we should be ahead of them, shouldn't we? I'm not saying I want the guy, but comparing us and them is ridiculous.

We should be ahead of them but I'm comparing him to other better options in the PL in my opinion.

FFS change results from the weekend and we would have been top of the league. Be careful what you wish for.

A Guardiola going through a change of squad personnel and approach is better than 99% of managers out there. Yes its not perfect, some can see he is having teething problems and some questionable decisions as he tries different options.

Form is temporary - class is permanent and he is top class. I am all for people questioning his decisions and picking apart his tactics as he is not beyond reproach, but to say you want him out is bonkers.
