Last game before yet another International break. We are on a good run at the moment and hopefully will continue. Brentford are in something of a transition with a new manager and both top goalscorers from last season leaving. Should be a reasonable game

Let's hope Haaland is still on fire as we aren't getting many goals from other sources which is a worry.

3-2 Haaland (2) Cherki

Bloody international breaks. They introduced these to give players less chance of injury through fatigue. That went well.

Quite hopeful today, as long as no-one has a brainstorm. We still give the ball away too much for my liking, especially with our high line. Better when speedy Khusanov is fit. Is Cherki fit then?

2 nil City. Haaland Foden

Assume Cherki will come off the bench. Unless we still say he's not fit and can't go to the Internationals

Who plays at right back stones or Rico, he'll probably go for stones and play a back 3 push nico o reilly up into midfield.
Right wing too is interesting he will probably opt for Silva as Bobb hasn't been brilliant,.in my eyes anyway. But with Brentford parking the bus we will need someone who can beat a player out there.

Cherki hasn't been called up by France. Assuming that's because he was injured when the squad was named but he has only got 2 caps so far.

It's not brilliant by any means, but Nunes is better at RB than Rico. And better in an attacking threat from there. Rico is better in midfield, but not a first choice. Neither is a right back.

Will he play Stones there? Who the fuck knows? :D :D

Thinking just thinking the same, team selection can be infuriating.

Pep’s lost the fucking plot. Dropping Doku, our most dangerous player all season, for Savinho — who’s been nothing short of useless. It’s like he’s trying to prove he’s smarter than everyone by sabotaging his own fucking starting lineup - he just cannot help himself can he !! !

I'm in thus camp too. Thw ONLY justification I can find is he expects Brentford to sit deep and he's bringing Doku on against tired legs. Not a good call for me
