Bollocks.

Dier should be red carded for headbutting his foot.

Absolutely this. Never a penalty. The VAR replay showed he didn't even touch him. Fucking joke.

again I agree, how can referees be so thick, there was no contact at all, as seen from several angles. So Dier cheated and you have to wonder how the refs
don't see this. Even the VAR ref , so you can only conclude that it is corrupt. Even the foul leading up to the incident was non existant.

If you watch the replay closely, Dier pulls Nico round by the shoulder as he goes behind him, pulling him off balance, then dips his head towards Nico's shin. Can't believe the ref/VAR didn't pull it back for a foul in the build up!

We were shite 2nd half. Didn't take chances, hit crossbar twice. We've seen it a billion times, don't take your chances you pay the price.

Sorry , we were not shite in the second half, we had some chances , hit the woodwork , goalie stopped Haarland. Strange events with the officials towards the end , gifting Monaco a penalty. very strange indeed.

How bad is Bernardo wide right, slow as anything, can only pass backwards and gives it away constantly.

The "Athletic" fit strong , fast younger players are proving too much for Bernie, either he moves into midfield where his reading of the game will help or he should move on to a less demanding league.

Still, reijnders needs to step up and Foden too, both do a lot of running around , rather than actively seeking the ball.

However, this squad is slowly getting there.

For me Nico was the best today.

This is exactly it. All 3 can have a good game and look decent in isolation, but for the most part all 3 are a significant downgrade on who they replace and have all helped us play worse after coming on at times this season. United, Brighton, Arsenal and this game all immediately spring to mind where at least one of the 3 game in to the game and we got worse.
Tracking back is overrated.

Even when we have a chance at the end to attack them on a break he checks back inside and slows it to get them back in position. I think he’s been dreadful every game he’s played right side this season, no pace to take advantage even when he gets past a man with the skill that’s still there. Bobb and Savio not exactly set things alight, hopefully Cherki can put a claim to the right side spot.

Still don’t think it’s a pen but see why it gets given, was lot more annoyed with the free kick that they gave in the lead up to it for nothing. Shit ref all night. 3 players booked for dissent and time wasting, usual European night officials, is there one decent Spanish ref out there?

Hopefully won’t be looking back at end of group stages saying two dropped points here have cost us top 8 and put us into the play off spots.

I thought we did well but paid the ultimate price. They didnt create much, scored a worldie and a v v soft pen. I watched monaco against brugges they were abs awful.

Feels like our subs are our downfall, as soon as we make them we go to shite while other teams have the opposite impact. Something has to improve on that front.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,

As soon as Savio came on I wanted to switch off - this player offers sweet fuckall IMO.

It’s not the subs although I cannot for the life of me understand why Sav is part of our set up he is fucking useless, we were like rabbits in the headlights for 10 mins after we scored, that was our problem……echoes of last season. That game should have been done and dusted and it wasn’t. We will not be winning anything this year unless we start manning up when the going gets a little tough. Not impressed but deffo not a penalty, how can it be so when Dyer wasn’t touched.

I missed the game. Haalands numbers are insane.
I want to see others at his level week in week out, and I’m sure so does he. One man teams will
In the end fall short. That will be a big problem for both City and him-sooner or later, he’s a superstar, his interview was a shot across the bows of al at City.

I said it a few weeks ago, the game of football is shite now. Pure corruption. It's there for all to see but some of us still lap it up. Every single one of these corrupt decisions knocks the wind out of you and moves you further away from football and fuckin it all off. If it's not cheating against us it's refs playing extra time until Liverpool or the rags score.

To be honest, was there ever a decent game when we had spanish refs?
Lahoz fucked us over numerous times.

That cunt from yesterday and his brigade was giving them everything.

As a club, we failed to stop shit like this from happening.
