I don't think there is any great issue. After almost a year out of competitive action he is feeling it a bit and we are protecting him by subbing him. Two games in a week a after so long away is bound to have an effect. If he was being taken off looking forlorn or in pain then I would agree but he isn't.


My take too. Read some of Pep's comments and he was saying the same. I'm expecting him to start tomorrow and then get a week off til Brighton. Thought his positioning was better on Thursday. Nico needs to kick on this season if he's coming on for Rodders. There's a player there, needs to show us more


Noticeable that Rodri was used sensibly very sparingly for Spain against Turkey the other night. His 15 minutes or so when the game was done and dusted was probably good for his rehabilitation. Good to see Spain treating him well.
