For the first time since October 2005, the England squad has been announced and there are no active Manchester City players involved.
Stones - injured
Walker - past it
Foden - crap and asked to be missing
Grealish - also crap
Lewis - club maybe asked to be excused in general, as we have this world club thing?

Correct. He was on loan at Milan and their season is now finished.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/ar ... gqjke25jnoBasically FIFA's president wants Tranny at the CWC seemingly at any cost. My bet is FIFA will subsidise his wages for the club the signs him when he deal with his Saudi club expires.
A fucking joke

Vista creada
The latest England squad announced on May 23, 2025, does not include any Manchester City players. Phil Foden, a Manchester City player, requested to be left out of the squad, as did several other City players. This leaves no Manchester City players in the current England squad.

Haven't seen this anywhere before -
Vinicius Junior on his experience facing City at the Etihad: "It felt like the stadium was going to collapse [when De Bruyne's name was announced in the stadium].
I've never seen anything like that in a football game. I've even started to sing along 'Oh Kevin De Bruyne'...

Touchline interviews with substituted players and camera access to dressing rooms are set to feature in Premier League TV coverage next season.
