Some hit from Savinho. Looks like we're intent on sending out a message here.

Did the VAR semi automated offside just show that Vlahovic's goal was "onside" by a fingernail. The defenders arm can't play him on though. Strange decision.

very happy with that
obviously not perfect and not a real starting xi but next season looks like it could be a very good one
this squad, especially with the 5 subs rule could do something special

Akanji must be great in bed to keep getting selected. We are not winning the Chimps league with that brick. Apart from that can't complain.

That's what I thought, commentator kept saying it was nico but he was a yank so probably has his brother as his dad anyway.

That was a very good performance. Very impressed by the new signings. The new left back is sexual.

The computer image showed it was Akanji's hand that was playing him on though which isn't possible as the hand is obviously a body part that you're not allowed ton play the ball with.

Akanji was abysmal. We need players to go, he's top of my list. Absolute liability. The rest were terrific.

Agreed, he wasn't very good and hasn't been for a long time. Gvardiol and Dias is the long term partnership and Akanji would surely be sold for a profit.

The most I’ve enjoyed a game in a year I reckon.

Doku and Savinho both stepped up. Class and how much better do they look with FB’s and midfielders making forward runs so they aren’t always 1 v 8 out wide?

Rodri some valuable mins and helped us dictate and break things up.

Some very unselfish play from all, especially Haaland who is creating more than he has in a long time, if not ever for us.

FB’s both played well. Rjenders is a baller.

Happy days.
Tracking back is overrated.
