After Dave and Kevin, we need a world-class one. Gibbs White and Olmo are not that.

This season and Pep's issues haven't done us any favours at all. He can also see how we've been treating our new signings , again not good. Doubt he'll come to City and to be frank i can't be arsed. I really wanted to see Echeverri and co bloodied before the end of the season, at least showing an effort to change things. Sadly disappointed. I'd be surprised if anyone decent wants to come
How are we a dysfunctional club.
4 in a row prior to this season and in this shit season we're in the top 4 and Cup Final.
The only reason he wouldn't come is if he wants to stay in Germany with Bayern- Haaland's signed a massive extension this season, Kev was desperate to stay.
This new signing scenario is no different to how it's always been with Pep. Very few are regulars first season. Khusanov and Reis both are for the future, Marmoush has done really well. The only one we've not seen is Echeverri and we don't see what's happening in training on a day to day basis.
I'd be surprised if anyone decent didn't want to come.

extention to stadium nearly ready and hotel plus fan arcade. Extensive on site training grounds and top facilities. The envy of everyone.
massive money earner next door , smartly done with manchesters famous Co-Operative Society.
The most successful club for almost two decades.
How is all of this dysfunctional ?
Certainly beats singing in the rain in the Gene Kelly stand.

Our owners have done great things for our club, financial backing , infrastructure, facilities - no question from me. Love what they have done but there is a big question mark hanging over us in term of how we are financed and there has been for a number of years , 115 charge verdict outstanding. We are now known as a cheating club, whether we are or not . That is not what i mean by dysfunctional. I'm referring to the way we are playing, managing our gametime, players , transfers in and transfers out. We've all enjoyed massive highs and know they don't last but our drop off in performances has been coming for a while. There were clear signs last season and this season were accelerated beyond anyone's understanding. Injuries have not helped but we have a manager that has let go some serious talent , hung onto players that should have been let go and players he's bought in have been either poor or not given a chance and linger on the sidelines. Its not a question of new players rarely get a start under Pep, thats bollocks Akanji always gets a game, Gundogan gets a game, Bernardo there are favourites . Other's he plays out of position Nunes, Gvardiol. Oreilly . The full back experiments have been a joke, The cup final result was forecast by many, All the ball, couldn't score. Beaten by an average team that played well to a simple well executed plan that was known to all, and they could finish. Our manager doesn't know what his best team is. He doesn't know what his best formation is, he only has one pattern and pace of play and forces players to fit in, If it doesn't work he is slow to react and doesn't know what to do. Because of his reputation, the owners have stuck with him, he deserves some loyalty and i expect that to a degree but we should be cementing on past victories, we should be feared but we are a laughing stock. Our new imports in January looked fresh fit and good players, Echeverri was heralded as a new Messi. We've seen fuck all of him for weeks , no bench place , nothing yet in the 15 mins he's given in a Cup Final he looked to be the only player we had that was capable of unlocking a tight defence. His treatment is piss poor. Grealish and Foden, two of England's best players have fallen by the wayside. Haaland is just a big lump, should be scoring 40 plus goals. We don't play to his strengths, he's pissed off and showing it every game, doesn't take a penalty in a final - something a miss here surely? In summary what the fuck is going on ? Dressing room rumours are rife, De Bruyne is hanging around like a bad smell. In all honesty WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON. Why would Wirtz want to come here? There's several players that need to be moved on in the summer, we may need more replacements if the good ones we want to keep aren't managed better than at present, because unless you are blinded by the past glories , this season has been a shit show bigger than anything i've seen in the last 60 years. The club isn't performing it is DYSFUNCTIONAL . If i pay £500 for a banger and don't spend money on maintenance and repairs i'm not too concerned when it doesn't work. On the other hand if i splash £100k on a set of wheels, house it in a nice gargae, expensive maintenance etc and it barely gets off the drive, i'd be asking questions.
I'm not confident we will get anything out of Bournemouth, our players and manager will be nervous as fuck and Bournemouth will defend in numbers.
Spurs or Utd will be above us in the pecking order on Thursday morning, let it sink in.
Turned into a rant but i'm more annoyed than losing the Wigan Cup Final

clocked it.
olmo’s missed atleast 19 games a season for the last 4 season though injury, if he’s not injured he can’t play.
that means he can play bernardo & gundogan for atleast half the season.
PeterParker wrote:I'm genuinely annoyed that City let things progress with Wirtz only to back down from the deal. We're not talking about some average player here — he's got everything to become a long-term pillar of the team: vision, technique, personality. And it's not the first time we flirt with a top-tier talent and then leave things hanging until someone else swoops in. It's frustrating because he fits our system so well, and yet we pull out as if we haven't learned from past mistakes.
What’s worse is that we keep giving players or clubs the impression that they can stall, back out, or play hardball with no consequences. We're City, FFS, not some desperate club begging for scraps. Otherwise, we’ll keep missing out on the exact players who could make us even better.
I swear I miss Cook and Marwood.

Yeah.
He looked at De Bruyne and said they took all the flair out of him!
