Did Alvarez really deserve a yellow? Pretty harsh but referees being very tough on time wasting.

Pep said Arsenal were two weeks ahead of us in preparation. I hope Kevin and Foden get half an hour.

I’d whack Foden on straight away. Alvarez is doing an Aguero limp and has been put on his arse about five times.

Brilliant try from Rodri. The goalkeeper was really scrambling.

They’ve also played 2 extra games, and it shows.

They do look a lot sharper than us and probably should be ahead.
Get Phil on for Alvarez.
Akanji having a poor game.

City dominated then Arsenal came into it. Two good saves from Ortega. Our only chance was Rodri’s brilliant attempted lob from the centre circle which landed on the roof of the net.

I’m not too fussed about this match, we’ve lost it to Leicester before. But I hate this lot so much I want to smash them.

The thing about Haaland is whether it’s a question of lack of movement or not being found. Kevin would help find him for sure.

Or the Phil that played against the rags at home last season.

Could be worse, Gomez!

Having 2 up front means we've effectively been one short in midfield, so one striker needs to be hooked
