Manchester City loanee Joao Cancelo is not being picked to start by Bayern Munich due to a lack of application in training, according to Hasan Salihamidzic.

The Bundesliga club’s sporting director says that he still believes the Portuguese international will become a key player but he is currently not doing enough to get first-team opportunities:

“Lately he hasn’t been training and playing quite as had been imagined. Joao will become a very important player. We communicate well with him. He’s an outstanding player who will become important in the future.”

Looks like they’re trying to get his value down for the summer.

Actually agree with you PP i find it difficult not to like him. I will say that he should know his place and keep politics out of his football. He, like every pundit, was all over the Qatar human rights bur they all took the money - for example
