We won’t win anything while the shackles are on. If the players aren’t allowed to move the ball forward at a fast pace we’ll carry on the way we are. Not sure why the tactic change from the fast attacking football to the side to side boring slow stuff.

Loosing Lillo.
The fella is no Sacchi, but look at the style we had in his regime and see we are lacking that.
Can you see Maresca going to Pep and telling things how they actually are? Or Borell who actually was our third choice as an assistant at some point?
We need a really good assistant manager that will give Pepito a proper talk.

Until then I am afraid we are in trouble.

David Platt was better than some of the shite we have on the “coaching team” now. They just sit there picking their arse on the bench.

Ultimately though, if we still had Kolarov whipping balls into Haaland we’d be alright.

Another reason why this game has gone WWE.

I work for a commercial broadcaster and that simply isn't true. Whenever there is a live broadcast there is contingency copy ready to go in the event of extended injury time or extra time.

Someone needs to put a few fucks into our kit man. He keeps letting Haaland wear his cloak of invisibility

He had 1 chance where he skinned the defender and shot just wide.
He made loads of good runs and nobody was finding him. Unfortunately even a misfiring Kev will find him more than the midfield did last night.

Can’t believe anyone would blame Haaland. The guys making great runs and for some reason our players would rather pass backwards and sideways. It wouldn’t matter if Alverez was playing, he’d still get no service.

That is something I can't understand and I keep on going at Vinnie's moment. They were shocked he decided to shoot instead of tippy-tappy into the net.
Why? Are they obligated to only play in this way by Pep? Are they missing the decisioning part and they know only to play that way?

There is a bigger issue here because we have arguably the best poacher of his generation and we fail to use his full qualities. Odd when we have arguably the best passers in the football world.
And why? Who is responsible? The system? The players?

Álvarez - what a waste of a talent we hardly ever use .

He will be thinking what the fuck he’s doing here.

If only we had David Silva and KDB in the middle, one can thread and the other can whip the ball, Haaland will have a hard on before each kick off. Gundo is capable of threading the ball, maybe Grealish from the middle? I believe only KDB has the freedom to try daring passes/ crosses where is the others are under restrictions to keep hold of the ball so not to lose shape? Who knows

We need to put the ball forward to Haaland. More direct football in Europe. If we can't barely keep the ball, then be more pragmatic and direct. Our god striker had one half chance last night. Pathetic. And for the rest. You cant tiki-taka forever. Need to fuckin' shoot at times. Vinnie understood that.

For what it’s worth I understand why we keep ball so much in order to control the game BUT, we have to take a chance and play the ball forward at some point, and yesterday we spent 45 minutes refusing to do so.

We only scored because they made a silly mistake for fuck’s sake.

True but the end game is to qualify for the next round.
It is 1-1 at half time in the tie with the 2nd half being played in Manchester.
We played the % game last night. We minimized the chance of losing by curbing our attacking play.
IMO that was the smart play. No guarantees of course but we have positioned ourselves to win the tie.
