Not a single replay….which to me says it’s a nailed on penalty

To be honest I’d have taken a draw before the start. Leipzig are a very good side at home. Still after the first half Coty have to be disappointed. Hopefully Kevin will be back for the second leg. I think he’d have found Erling more effectively than City did tonight. Going to the second leg match. Hopefully we can advance.

Would be very worried about the home tie. Maybe it's best to go out sooner rather than later. We will not win this competition, it's beyond us.

It’s been said before and I say it again - we will never ever win the CL with pep in charge .

From Sky

RB Leipzig 1-1 Manchester City
City's players were seen having a word with the referee at full-time. There was a shout for handball with the last corner where Hendrichs was involved. We didn't see a replay at the time but it certainly looked a fair shout on what the broadcast replays have just shown. Hendrichs punched it clear almost!

Looking at it now on BT

Penalty all day long. VAR can’t have looked at it. Another balls up by UEFA

But once again, we only have ourselves to blame for not winning a football match

Players need to start getting their head up and playing what's in front of them. Too many are too ingrained in possession football and shit scared of giving the ball away. First half there was acres of space on their left and Mahrez intercepted and just kept hold of it for way too long. Haaland made run after run and never got the ball. "Can City break away with Grealish" (as he turns back towards his own goal) sums it up perfectly.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

We haven't had confirmation but it looks like VAR didn't review it.

I personally wouldnt be gutted to go out. But as a caveat, only if we then go balls out for the PL and properly focus on it

This off the beeb

Interestingly, BT have just shown a replay of that handball shout at the end of the game.

It looks very handbally! The ball is sent in the direction of the home goal and Benjamin Henrichs looks to push his palms out to save it.

Presumably, VAR had a look at it?

Always want the win but got to take that going back to ours. Should’ve been a penalty at the end but it seems the English rule where you can bring them back out if they haven’t left the stadium doesn’t apply in the CL.

We do look great in the 1st half and shit come the 2nd. Wonder if the players are fucked following a long few years and being on the road for the last couple of week’s?

Blatant foul for their goal and blatant handball at the end. Rigged all the way, Caveman Keown loving it.

All the commentators saying how well he got up, yeah by lifting himself up on the defender’s shoulders, as far as I remember that’s a foul…..corruption, and the handball at the end, I stand in disbelief. Mark my words WE WILL NEVER BE ALLOWED TO WIN THIS COMPETITION…..GET USED TO IT.
Should be two nil tie over.

Think we miss Laporte who’s so good on the ball. Stones too. Our defenders tonight weren’t good enough on the ball. He didn’t trust Phillips or he’d have come on for Rodri who needs a game off. Gundogan could have been replaced too by Foden but I guess he felt Foden would be more likely to give away possession.

All you can say is that only the keeper is allowed to do that.
