No idea what to make of this. Who knows these days? Should be a routine 3-0 to us, but...................................................

Based on Pepito's comments, I think he is stuck on the idea of Bernie being a left back.

I have very little appetite for this. I have virtually no belief that we will win this competition, if we do it will be a miracle.
And all this silly fucking about with the defence isn't going to help.
Of course I'll watch and want us to win, but that's just putting off the inevitable pain that is coming.

The team picks itself up to right wing berth
Ederson
Walker Dias Akanji Ake
Bernardo Rodri Gundogan
???? Haaland Grealish
Who do you want Mahrez or Foden or Alvarez?
Foden for me

Looks like Nkunku is out tonight. He suffered a long term injury which ruled him out of the World Cup. L’Equipe report that he couldn’t finish training yesterday. Good news, if true. He’s off to Chelsea in the Summer. Watch out for Gvardiol. A rumoured replacement if Laporte moves on in the Summer. Werner a danger man and they have a very promising Hungarian midfielder. Leipzig are a very good side in good form. This will be a tough match.

I like the defence, a more conventional look to it. Perhaps Alvarez for the other position.

Or 4-3-3 with Grealish doing the Kev role.
I bet he'd be great there.

I was thinking Grealish in the role usually occupied by KDB

Alvarez on the right wing then?

I was thinking Alvarez left. Mahrez right. Haaland central.
With Grealish roaming just behind them

I think two players in completely unfamiliar positions is unlikely, the reaction on here would be interesting though - probably quite positive given the current form of Foden. Also not sure Alvarez is up to speed yet tbh and Bernie has been playing well recently.

I genuinely have no idea what Pep is going to do but he had better fuck off with the Silva at left back idea.put our strongest team out and look to get it done in the first leg
