Let’s talk about Pep

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Obviously none of us need this shit, but Pep could have any job in the world and wouldn't have to put up with the constant attacks we have gotten year in, year out.

I hope he still has the energy for the biggest one yet

The club have said they knew this was coming. Pep must have known it was coming - I believe the club keep him in the loop on everything.

He only signed a new contract 2 months ago, knowing this was coming. I’d be disappointed if he packed it in now.

This might be what he needed to wake him up a bit and get his mojo back to be fair. They may have done us a favour on the pitch.

You would think the club would put some senior advisor from the club with Pep to field any of the non football question, but you never know.
Anyway off topic, went on a trip to Spike Island off Cork harbour last week, it is like Ireland’s Alcatraz brilliant day out , if you haven been I recommend it if you are ever in Cork.

I think we'd be giving it too much respect and the club line will most likely be pep to talk about football and say he has nothing to add other than the statement.

Cobh was the closest I got to spike Island. Will definitely check it out next time, cheers.
I did get to alcatraz before and loved it

The hunger rant takes on a new meaning now I reckon. He knew the shitstorm was about to unfold and I think it was simply a rallying call to all connected to the club to get fully behind us, as we need to circle the wagons like never before to deal with the rest of the fucking world

There’s plenty to be unsure about with Pep but one things for sure, I think he gets the City thing. Regardless of the fact he’ll always be a Barca fanboy he’s attached to this club and fully understands how unfairly we’re treated by most in football.

Pep Guardiola in ‘pole position’ to leave ‘crisis’ at Man City for new job with his exit ‘expected’

I hope Pep sits down for his press conference and starts with, “I’m not leaving this club”

So the usual no substance clickbait bullshit, then. Best to ignore it, don't give them the clicks.

Pep is 7/2 to be the next manager to leave their club. Not 7/2 to leave, but to be the next to leave, so even lower odds to leave... worrying.

If he walks, he walks. Nobody is bigger than the club. City where there long before Pep and will be there long after Pep (or anyone else).

It's not lower odds to leave- everyone leaves at some point. Klopp is 5/2 to leave before the start of next season which means he's a lot lower odds to still be there.
