Boys, as much as I love your posts, this thread is not about replacing Pepito or a supposed conflict between him and the squad.

The debate is about his brainfarts. Those brainfarts that were present from day one with him in his regime here. Brainfarts that were reveled at Bayern also and so on.
Why are those things keep on happening with him?

I wish it was just a brainfart. We got to start thinking about replacement just in case he walks out, I can't see him extending after two years. I'm hoping he turns it around and hasn't fallen out with half the team.

But it's so easy to turn it around when we created this mess.
A constant back four, play your players on their natural position and I will give it to you in writing that we are going to go into a winning run. We did the same thing when we looked the best under him.

This is a mess he created.
My two cents.

The fact he chose to play an 18 y o out of position yesterday is a new one even for him. He made a big call in benching KDB and was then forced to bring him on to attempt to get something from the game. We continue to waste grealish by sticking him out wide. We have nore questions than answers at present and its on Pep to sort it

At some point the players have to stand up and say, “this way of playing isn’t working”. Whether they’ve already done that with Pep and this is the issue or not, who knows?

Rico as inverted full back has been praised I recent weeks, so how can it be a great move one week and a brainfart the next?

Can we stop with the “pep brain farts “ label ?

It’s now become the norm in many games and it’s just pure fucking madness what he’s doing with team and tactical changes .

No one is going to cross the ball other than KDB and he didn’t play until it was too late .

Pep has not got a scooby on who to play at the back — Días and Laporte on the bench and an 18 year old in a different position to what he’s used to .

Madness or ineptness (pick one ) from the manager and it’s him that’s going to cost us winning anything this season .

Another shit day at Spurs, thankfully he gets it right more than he gets it wrong. The team selection was baffling, Rico inverted was risky. Grealish was brilliant but I want him down the middle. We need a settling down and another run to win the league. Is there a behind the scenes issue possibly, is that unusual for us yes. KDB has been average, Dias injured and played for his country knowing he had a chance of making it worse, so lots of factors, I trust Pep, but he does my nut in on occasions.

If Pep thinks his messiah Johann Cruyff would approve of that shit yesterday, he’s in a dream world.

I think he is so scared of conceding goals on the counter attack that he is over focusing on that, and as a result becoming scared of losing. I’d like to see him sack off that fear as it transmits to the players and go for it. Let them try and counter, we will score one more than them. Encourage the players to create. It is the only way out of this that I can see.

The alternative is the players just don’t listen to him and play their game once they cross the white line.

It's a worry that's for sure.
If he's lost half the dressing room we can safely say it's not Ederson, Ake, Akanji, Rodri, Grealish, Mahrez, Haaland and Alvarez.
Foden apparently had a stand up row with him between the Fulham and Brentford games in November just before the World Cup and there's definitely something not right there. Cancelo is a loose cannon who has caused arguments wherever he's been and apparently went berserk when he was taken off at HT at Chelsea.
With Laporte and Dias something must have gone on- probably Dias playing when injured in the WC- with Laporte i haven't got a clue but something. Walker hasn't been the same and seems pissed off at Rico getting in ahead of him so often and Bernardo just seems pissed off at being here and offers us very little at the minute. I didn't think there was a problem with Pep and Kev until yesterday but it seems there is.

Trouble we've got is if he does walk there are so few alternatives out there. For those saying Kompany is a great leader and did everything as a player so did Gerrard and Lampard. Let's see how he does at Burnley in the Prem next season first. Other than that there's no obvious names out there.

Smash Villa and win at an Arsenal who've lost 2 on the trot without scoring and things will seem a lot better.

Just for the sake of it: Pooch, Zidane, Luis Enrique, Tuchel, and that is about it who are free. And I wouldn't want any, especially Luis Enrique who I think is massively overrated.
If I would have to chose, that would be Zidane, but Pepinho comes first.

It’s not just about winning things - it’s about setting us up the. right way to win things.

We have the best squad in the premiership and it’s not even arguable , and there is zero fucking justification for pep to do what he does in many games across the season .

None .

Also.
Lillo. This is why you need a top assistant by your side.

You're right- and you're right with your previous post as well.
Poch couldn't even win the league with PSG, Tuchel is like Mourinho- short term and falls out with everyone and no thanks to Zidane and Enrique.
It's frightening the lack of top managers.

Tippy tappy backwards and sideways it basically takes haaland out of the game. Mahrez can't link up with the strikers in a positive way need a right footer on the right. Midfield are not linking up with the forwards its a confused mess. It's all well and good in Peps head what he wants to do but it doesnt translate that easy onto the pitch when the opposition have pace or ruffle our feathers. Simplify things and we clean up, keep going the way we're going and we'll be hit and miss.

He didn't really spend time playing as a LB though did he, he was more in the middle.

The 3 CBs (Walker, Akanje, Ake) move and cover the full back areas and give us the extra body in midfield with Lewis, so it doesn't really matter if he is left or right. That wanst an issue yesterday and the team was full of players who have been performing best recently, including Alvarez who everyone has been screaming for him to start.

The team are learning this new style of play on the job. That's why it's inconsistent and thats why we're having odd bumps.

We will be fine. Keep the faith

Lads the anti City fraternity, a sizeable sinister grouping, want to hound Pep out of the club. They have wanted him gone for a long time now.

More than ever now the fans need to get behind him.

Do not let them win. Don't even listen to them.
