Pep is overkill with his tactics. With the players we have if we ran at them and made a few slide passes we'd score. This season is becoming painful.

What I cannot understand is that surely players, coaching staff, Pep watch previous games see Haaland running through the middle and think we need to target that run more but we continue with the same fucking wide passes every week

I honestly don’t think he wanted him and it was a signing made by the club, not Pep.

No way on earth do we sign anyone pep does not want. What is baffling is that he continues to keep us starving Haaland

There may well be an element of truth in that. We are not really playing to his strengths and that's the crying shame. Imagine if we did gear up to supply him, like Spurs do for Kane etc, then how many more would he score. I feel like he's actually played within himself so far, yet is still breaking records

That is because he is not normal in his head, mate.
After 7 years with him I can’t find another answer for his tactical weirdness.

I agree with this, but Mahrez is coming off not Bernardo

Bernardo going on the Right. Hopefully Tintin can find Haaland’s runs.

Makes me wonder why that was not thought of from the start

KDB the first one to play a forward pass to Haaland

We are screwed without him. The others just don't have the vision or balls to attempt it
