I don't doubt Pep's integrity in support of worthy causes and charities helping people less fortunate than most of us and i don't see him 'disrespecting' the meaning of laying a wreath becausd of his casual attire. I've attended numerous remembrance services and its something i've always felt strongly. My attire has varied from a tux at the Royal Albert Hall to cycling lycra at the Arc De Triomph but it didn't alter my level of support or respect for all those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice
I think there's a difference between 'attending' and 'actively participating in'/'representing'. I might attend a funeral in less formal attire, but I'd never be a coffin-bearer in anything less than a black suit. Technically, everyone at the stadium was 'attending' the memorial service, but Pep was laying a wreath on behalf of the club, and he (as well as the club's hierarchy) would have known this in advance.

Just when I think you cannot get any more stupid than you already are.....you go and knock it out of the park yet again.
Well done.

I agree and although might have worn something more formal had i been in his position, I can accept that he didn't and he chose to wear his current match attire which happens to be supporting our clubs sponsors - neither hoodie or jeans do anything for me, but i'm not prescious about it to the level that some are in this thread and the level of shit being thrown is excessive and not called for IMO. Criticise him for his football results. He laid a wreath in casual gear, get over it. I'll bet a few quid that he's done more for charity than any fucker on here

Well done.
You only have to look at EVERY SINGLE MATCH THREAD for evidence of your stupidity.
Hope you are well. Big love. xx
Attack the argument of the person, not the person of the argument- except Carl.

He's contracted to wear that stuff is he? And how can it be a uniform if he is the only one wearing it?
