Hardest thing to know is when it is time to exit the stage.
SAF persuaded him to go to MU instead of City.
Ronaldo thinks he can still play at the top table.
Both massive cnuts, both delusional, both past their sell by date, both carry the sting of a dying wasp. Both doing a great job, long may it last.

I wonder what Roy 'I call it like it is' Keane has to say about this interview? What is certain is that Roy 'I am a hyprocrite' Keane will be his usual hypocritical self. Like when he gives Ole (incompetence) and Ronaldo (being a cnut) free passes but hammers others for a lot less.
The Roy 'I shafted Dalglish' Keane who is still upset with Alex 'time to shaft Keane' Ferguson. What goes around comes around you bellend.

I think he is forcing his way out in the winter.
Maybe the rags wanted to keep him somehow, but he burned all of his bridges.

Fair play to him for forcing the issue and getting his exit. I don't think rags will have the stomach to pay him for the next 8 months for him to not play at all, and he's clearly burned all bridges.
Surely given his wealth, if it was about legacy now he'd fuck off to portugal and play for next to nothing - but he could have done that in the summer. Maybe United are insisting on a fee and making it difficult which is why he's gone nuclear?
Either way, thank fuck we had a lucky escape

Sly that he’s waited until now when he won’t need to go bear OT for the next 6 weeks. Absolute bottle job!

My guess is he'll announce his immediate retirement after the WC, or, alternatively, this break will be used to discuss the termination of his contract, with him ending up in the USA or China.
I can't see a club coming in for him during January, nor him featuring for the Rags ever again. I also can't imagine a transfer or loan happening, considering how complex his contract (probably) will be.

Wonder what his fellow players invthe Portugal camp make of it? If he is liked by them or whether as with the rags, he holds them back? Maybe someone in training will nobble him? Portugal are a good outfit and maybe for a few others it could be their last world cup as well and they don't want it to be the Ronaldo circus

Pretty sure he's unpopular everywhere as it's all about him.
Elanga goes to a place in Whitefield that i know and was asked to get a rag shirt signed for a little girl.
He came back a few days later with it signed by everybody bar Tranny- when asked if he wasn't there he said he didn't even bother asking him.
Says it all.

Guess if he ever goes into management he won't be getting the rags job.
Such a shame.

The rags would be delighted to have him off their hands. Had a quick look at redcafe last night on their thread for this and virtually to a man, they all wanted him gone
There won’t be many shedding tears at his departure

I honestly can't see what his post-football career would be. Beckham has 'Brand Beckham', with a well-known wife and is from a country that's obsessed by celebrity and whose celebrities the rest of the world is obsessed by. His kids are also hardly media-shy, and his profile was boosted during the later stages of his career by the Olympic frenzy. He also moved to a money league at a far younger age, and was able to transplant the family brand over to the USA as a result.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, is seen as a bit of a recluse, and I don't know (nor am I interested to find out, really) much at all about his family. He doesn't seem like someone who could remain in football, due to his egocentric nature, and Portugal's too small and poor for a cult of personality to be sustained around him.

I too know how it feels to be betrayed by my football club. Still haven’t forgiven City for selling Kola.
