Let’s see if he is still a Sky pundit in a couple of weeks
The womens players that have tweeted about it crying are showing exactly why he’s said it.

We are powerless to do anything about this. The point is not that they are women, the point is the criteria has always been - we were told - that to be a pundit you have to have played in the Premier League. These women have not played in the Premier League. If they were going to use pundits who haven't played there, then anyone who played football could have got a gig - maybe me? How about Carl?
It's just all so ridiculous and unfair.

As soon as he said it, we all knew what was coming. So predictable and unnecessary

I don’t know why they’re getting so emotional about it. The match he was commenting on was literally a mens game. Are they that thick they don’t know the difference?

Couldn't give a toss about his current predicament.

You might not give a toss about him but they are coming for all of them, it won’t stop here

he does not need to justify anything he has said . Tell them all to get lost.

Neither team has won a game yet this season so why even debate two of their squads from different eras. Some of the other questiosn are more interesting and relevant to be fair. Would like to have seen a question about the most successful team of the last decade but they would probably just bitch on about us not winning the Corruption League yet.

Thought the questions were interesting to be honest and both sides put their respective debates across well.
And though the rags obviously ended up with 3 pots which hasn't yet been matched, they were dead lucky and should have actually won none of them. Arsenal should have won the Double and Bayern the CL
