Here we go again demeaning City and lack of history crap, Pep cannot help himself can he?

“If we have to compete with their history, we don’t have a chance. It speaks for itself,” said the former Barcelona coach, when reminded of the contrasting records of the two clubs.
“We have the desire to compete against them. For us playing against them is an incredible test and we want to try it. (We will) Suffer when we suffer, (but) stick together. Try to do as best as possible.”

Personally I can't see a whole lot wrong with that. They do have a pretty impressive record in this competition, we don't.
Nothing to worry about.

Well they will win La Liga but they have had a couple of defensive meltdowns losing 4-0 to Barca, they are dangerous in attack but vulnerable at the back

I do not watch Spanish football but my perception is that Real Madrid have class players but some of the key players are getting on a bit.
For ex, Benzema 34, Modric 36, Hazard 31, Marcelo 33, Kroos 32....

If we retain the ball, ping it around, they should tire significantly in the last quarter and we should be able to take advantage?

Can we beat the top team in Spain, a team that UEFA have built their commerce around?

Hopefully one of Walker or Stones is fit and we’re covered. Otherwise throw the young lad in, got to be better than Fern / Jesus in wrong position.

I can see is trouncing Real but will be nervous as anything watching.

Yes we can beat the RM footballing team.
Can we beat the help they are going to get from UEFA? The same help that beat us when we played Liverpool and Spurs in the CL.
