In all honesty the rags look like a Sunday league team who have won a competition to play the dippers in aid of some candle and wreath charity

I can take solace in the Rags getting spanked but really interesting how the games are ref’d so differently for the teams that are favoured for top spot.

Ha ha ha, we’ll look at that. Dodgy tackle on Lingard where the lino flags profusely, only for the ref to play on giving adavantage, where there was none. 30 seconds later, goal to Liverpool.

I'm still trying to figure out what Maguire was doing for the 3rd and 4th. I'd be amazed if we were genuinely in for him. Terrible defender.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

What about the first? Charged up the field and left a massive gap which was fully exposed

And how he plays for England is truly baffling

Said it the other day, the Brighton game will define our season. We simply have to win. And I think it’s 70/30 whether we do or not

For me two takeaways from tonight.

1. Dippers will not be allowed to lose any of their remaining games.
If VAR is like that for them against the Rags, nobody else has a hope.
2. They have to be juiced up.
It is not possible to play that number of games, at that tempo and be as fresh as they are at the end of games.
Especially when you consider that most of the squad is asthmatic (% of asthmatics is way above the national average)
Then their injury record is incredibly good.

No doubts for me anymore, we need to win all our remaining games to win the PL.

Bastards.

Oh stop whinging fgs.

we will win tomorrow and over the weekend. There were so many differences tonight compared to Saturday.

Even against the lesser City players they were not in control.

I saw Penadez tonight stolling around like a baby . Matic not matich fit.

I’m not quite as confident as yourself as we have a depleted squad and Brighton have been on somewhat of a role. If we have a few hitters back then that would dissuade my fears but there’s still questions.

I only try to look at ourselves and it’s down to us to win the league, that’s one thing I have confidence in.

Bissouma a big miss for Brighton and Duffy out too

We will win our next two league games. The game away at Leeds in between the two Real Madrid games is the one to watch out for.

Yeah, aware, mate. But, until I see the first 10 minutes, after we’ve played recently, will dictate my mood. The Atletico game took a lot out of us and even though I’d normally be confident with this game (considering previous games), bringing players back does have an impact.

We’re at home so I’m quite sure, but then again, I was the same against the likes of Palace.
