They are a team that has a lot of media & FA Support, also a great schedule & history of teams bending over in key moments. Don't want to start with the dopey agenda, but all in all, they have momentum and a big chance, while we went for the similar thing with everything against us. Everything is set for the to succede.
Add to that, we really are super shaky at the moment, an accident waiting to happen.
So, really, where is the confidence coming from?

We are capable of beating them, or even just about fav to beat them - but only if we play at our maximum concentration and on song etc, which we can do nd have done in many big games.
So i see why we can be confident. But i'd rekon most city fans would also accept that we would have to be on full burners, as we have to contain them and navigate the bent officials at the same time.
Then there is Pep thunking he has to 'do' something.

I also think we are going to beat them, but don't know if in both games. What I don't get is why the confidence they will implode? They will slip up under the pressure.
The way I see it, only us and the german rags can stop them at the moment to reach finals.

Thanks for letting me know how bad things are at City Peter. To be honest, I hadn't noticed.
Maybe I should stop believing that the table shows us sitting ahead of the rest at the top and we are still competing for the FA Cup and the CL.
I would have hated to be sat next to you at Maine Road when Alan Ball was in charge and our next 2 fixtures were at Anfield...How many goals against in the same week?
In case you haven't noticed, these are the best days days that any set of City fans have ever known in the whole of our history. I would expect to seen posts as dismal and disparaging about City on red caff or in some agenda ridden gutter sport's media outlet.
Is there anything you actually like about City?

Implosion is too strong a word, but they'll certainly have a blip before this is all over. It happens to all teams,
But we've had ours.

john68 wrote:Peter, You seem to miss the point mate.
In almost every thread on here, you seem to have a negative City view. This player or that player is heavily criticised, our form to comes under heavy criticism.
You never seem to balance that criticism with any celebration of what City really have and are delivering. And there is a significant difference between that negative criticism and reasoned debate.
We are top of the Prem......reality!!!!!
We are in the later stages of the CL......Fact.
We are in the later stages of the FA Cup......also a fact.
What the fuck is there to be negativve about?
City are playing some of the most cutlured football ever seen in the English top division and have done for a number of years. We have won trophy after trophy, broken record after record and there is no reason to think that is likely to change in the future.
Our Academy is by far the best in the country and last season we won the various leagues at all age groups.
We have a bunch of kids that are on the verge of breaking through to the 1st team and are making a huge profit from those kids who don't or won't make our 1st team.
Currently we are in for a deal that could bring one of the considered elite of the World's goal scorers.
Financially, we are top of the Deloitte's Rich List and have no debt.
All of that is beyond my wildest dreams, beyond what I ever expected to see at City.
CITY ARE BEYOND THE DREAM.
THAT MY FRIEND IS A CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION, JUBILATION, POSITIVITY, JOY, HAPPINESS...not some nit picking negativity that seems to exude from your general posts.
Take stock mate and enjoy what you are experiencing in the now.
