Italy knocked out at home to north Macedonia

They won’t be at the World Cup. Staggering result

32 shots and couldn't score. Against North Macedonia- that is embarrassing for Bobby Manc. Wonder where he'll go next.

On the other side of the argument, if ever there was a world cup to miss, its most definitely this one.
Being played in a desert with no football tradition or heritage whatsoever. In the middle of the season, mad temperatures, few fans planning to travel etc etc.
This will be the shittiest world cup in the history of the game, and probably for the next several decades as well. That is unless FIFA get a big bribe from N Korea, Turkmenistan or some similar obscure location to hold the worlds biggest sporting event.

North Macedonia won in Germany also last year.

Going to what you said, Sheblue, maybe the age, but the World Cup lost all of it's magic for me since 2006.
I feel I am watching the Paris Fashion Week. Sponsors, hairstyles, but piss poor football.

I used to get all of those Panini albums, was buzzing every year, now I couldn't care less.

I agree, its completely lost its soul for me. And I will probably only watch it in December, if there is nothing else to do.

Japan beat Australia 2-0, which is nice for them. Two late goals.

Check out the goalie for the second. Laugh? I nearly bought me own beer.

At least the Australians have got the play-off so they are not out of it by any means.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Which part? I’ve just asked if the WC is not being held this summer.

Edit; I’m assuming you think I’m having some sort of dig about the thread? Not sure how your mind has come up with that, but it’s not  I’m literally asking when the WC is being held.

So are they stopping the season for the WC? How many weeks after it finishes will the season pick back up? Sounds like chaos!
