our best kits have been away ones mainly…
kappa 97/98
umbro black and red stripes 11/12 and 84-86
the umbro sash kit 3rd kit from around 2009
the umbro checkerboard red and black from the mid 80s

The luminous yellows / pinky thing last season was shocking.
The away navy blue this season is rubbish.

Just bring back the black and red stripes.

Mine too. Got the home for my birthday and the away for Christmas. I prefer the shiny '81 variant though so that gets my vote for home. The last Umbro red and black stripes for the away. Third kit would be white with a sash. The worst for me are the purple, green or citrus colours and I include the 99 yellow and black in that. Would have preferred more black than yellow and who thought sticking some turquoise on there was a good idea? Worst home kit would have to be the white sleeved effort. No idea what that was about.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Home - the early 70s round neck with badge in the middle

Away - Red/Black striped (69 FAC)

3rd - White with the Blue diagonal shoulder bit (Le Coq i think?) or the more recent white with the 2 blue vertical stripes down the side (Nike)

Bought my lad all three of those. Not bad choices. Mine would be the 69 sky blue home, red and black stripe away of same era and later the white with red black diagonal stripes circa 1974?

I got my dad the red and black long sleeve away one you’ve mentioned. They look so much better without a sponsor all over them.

My first shirt and favourite. Loved the diagonal and striped shirts of the 70's, very similar to Peru . Ajax was another favourite with all white and centre red stripe. Nostalgia

I remember having a Shoot! annual from mid 70s that had Colin Bell on the cover with the diagonal striped shirt. Were we before or after Palace with that design? Maybe Big Mal took the idea with him when he went to Palace

There was a blue shirt with diagonal stripes in the 70's may have been the third kit

Home is too busy for me. Plus not sky blue. The other two I love.

My first ever City shirt! Fantastic.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

I thought the Home shirt from the 2015/2016 campaign looked good. That campaign wasn't much to write home about though, as we finished 4th in the PL.
