Haalands wages will be astronomical. It’s not just a question of the reserve fee plus Raiola’s demands. To pay 100 million plus for Rice on top of that? Personally I don’t see it.

Rodri will be fine as he is integral to how we set up. His passing is usually of a very high standard. I personally would like to see someone with a bit more vigour in the role in going forward, but I guess that isn’t the role of a number 6.

Regards the lad Lavia. He is incredibly young to be thrust into such an important role in the side and as such it’s simply not going to happen any time soon. More likely he would be potentially integrated into the first team in a different position, say number 8 or even as a 2, to get first team experience and see first hand what the role requires

Rodri has just had 2 very very poor games - he’s been a red card waiting lately and is currently a liability .

Also , he was never that quick to start with but it seems he’s now got fucking cement in his boots !

Rodri , Red Card candidate recently ? Nah, where do you get that from C ? no way . A lot of what Rodri does goes un noticed because it is not
in the box .

He's improving and will definitely fill Ferns boots.

I don't know if you have noticed it but all of City's players have 'Bulked up ' a lot and stayed sharp and fast . Foden is about twice the size he was when he made his debut as a skinny little runt.

Rodri's doing ok . cut him some slack, Fern's boots aren't easy to fill.

I’m only going on his form last 2 games - to me he’s been well well under par .

For someone in "management" you appear to be very short sighted, if you are judging somebody on their last two "shifts"

Out of interest what is the staff turn around figures for the last 5 years at your gaff?

I was actually being diplomatic - he’s had more than a couple of bad games this season IMO.

Also , What’s my businesses got to fucking do with an opinion on a players performance ? - Fucking bizarre comment .

Just to add - players are mostly always dropped if their performance drops from recent matches they have played in or maybe most managers are also short sighted ?

Sterling dropped , had a couple of shit games , Jesus dropped , the list goes on .

Some don’t agree that Rodri has dropped off lately , I think he has .

I thought Rodri had a couple of duff games by his standard. He does sometimes do that and obviously we notice and the team suffers a bit.

He had improved a lot though since that first year, so i'm banking on it as temp blip. Trouble is we rely on him completely and have no alternative that can play every game in his stead.

I think Zinch can be an option for DM. He is originally a midfielder who’s been playing as a defender for the last 3-4 seasons so he’s gained a lot of experience in defending. He’s still young and can improve under the guidance of Pep and possibly Fern after he retires. I think he’s played that role once or twice in minor games. This of course means that we need to buy a proper LB !

I think he lacks the strength and presence for it. No mount of coaching will help that.
Agree big time on the left back though.
