Thought I’d flick Sky on as they have a match pack. First up, talk of Tranny. Second up, Wreck-it-Ralph interview.

Let’s see what’s up next before I kick the fuck out of the TV!

There’ll play their biggest defenders and midfielders, ably supported by their fastest attackers.

Agree with this.
They will rest nobody and will put out the team they think is best suited to mug us on the break. That may mean no Ronaldo (has no pace, cannot press ) and no Maguire (not good enough). Play the thugs in midfield as they will get no yellows despite kicking us to pieces.
Still without the ball it will be difficult for the Rags provided we cover their attacking space effectively.

I don't believe him.
We will be cautious with the space in behind us i.e. our shape and positioning for when they get the ball (25% of the time) but we will be relentless when we have the ball. Their defense is a gift to us (positioning, error count, work rate) - aside from DeGea, one that Pep will target. We will attack relentlessly.
I am nervous but still looking forward to the match. This is the first meaningful test for Rag Ralf and it will be interesting to see how the Rags react over 90 mins.
Potential problem is they have so many big egos that due to the media focus on this game they may put in a shift and no matter what people say they have players who can play ball.

Pep will play the game as he always does. The mentality is to keep the ball and pass, pass, pass and pass some more because we have the belief, (backed up by titles and performances), that we are the superior team and as such if we play the way we always do we will win a far higher percentage than we lose

Switched it off just after I posted as it then went to Andy Cole and wanted to keep the TV. WTF was I thinking, turning it on in the first place!
