There is an argument to be had that the only reason Sterling performs for England and not City is because hes playing , mostly , against the likes of the Albania's and Andorra's of the world.....teams that would be classed as 'easy' to play against as when we come up against Norwich and Burnley in the premiership...........as soon as we play a big International team he plays shit just like he does with us against a top league team.

I wouldn't say he was playing against a top team the other night and he was still shit and whilst playing in his supposed best position.
That's why i don't get all the protests on here about a Barca loan move in Jan.
While his contract is running down so is his value. I can't see him going to another top 4 club here. I don't think his ego would agree to Arsenal or Newcastle.
If Barca stump up his wages with some sort of agreement for the summer then it can't be bad for us.

Agree in part to this but Sergio was an instinctive finisher in the main and no-one can teach that. Could and should have learnt more from a movement perspective though I agree wirh that. Seemed to blossom when Pep took time out to change the way he shaped up in receiving the ball but has been beyond poor since and as you say, looks like his head is already out the door. I will not miss the player of the last two seasons

I agree with this. Raz wants to leave and his putting himself in the shop window. As long as he doesn't make too much of a fuzz and handles it professionally, I'm fine with that. Hopefully he will find some form again and contribute to the team until he leaves.
