Absolutely.

Any player looking for more game time because their form has nosedived needs to take a long hard look at themselves.
Especially when he was trusted with the biggest game of the season in may and did fuck all.

I was always a big fan of sterling even when he was at Liverpool but he has peaked and is our most saleable asset given age and the cover we have.

If we get his proper market value (only Newcastle can probably pay it all up front) and we spent the money on haaland....

Who wouldn't want that??

Also, if they can convince him to be their star man, he might just go for it. He's at an age where he can see them become title challengers at be the spearhead for that.

The timing might just be right for this summer

Arsenal, perfect for him, back home, No chance he goes further North, IMO.

Deary me Razza, not rhw brighest idea that you have come up with.
We have to take this opportunity and get someone to take him either with a loan to Farca with the mandatory option to purchase in thw summer as they're skint, or the bar codes but I don't see him going up there

Coming out and saying he wants to leave though reduces his value imo. Teams know now officially that we have a player that is looking to move on. We’ll get screwed with his fee.

Didn’t work for Kane
I’d be ok if we got 50 million or so for Sterling

We don’t have Levy. Tevez openly wanted to leave and we got fuck all for him.

It would be £50m over 4 years with only £10m upfront though knowing us.

I'd be perfectly happy for Sterling to leave for £10M with a £10M discount if it frees up his wages for someone who can hit a barn door.

The end of the day a lot of people called out his form, sadly, did not expect this entitled attitude from him also.
Sad, but in January he needs to go. No debate here.

We will be lucky to get 50m for him. Hopefully his mention of France opens up opportunity to go to PSG to replace mbappe.

Id have raphina as his replacement in a heartbeat.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of the above.
If a player doesn't want to play for City - then they can fuck off.

There is an argument to be had that the only reason Sterling performs for England and not City is because hes playing , mostly , against the likes of the Albania's and Andorra's of the world.....teams that would be classed as 'easy' to play against as when we come up against Norwich and Burnley in the premiership...........as soon as we play a big International team he plays shit just like he does with us against a top league team.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I wouldn't say he was playing against a top team the other night and he was still shit and whilst playing in his supposed best position.
That's why i don't get all the protests on here about a Barca loan move in Jan.
While his contract is running down so is his value. I can't see him going to another top 4 club here. I don't think his ego would agree to Arsenal or Newcastle.
If Barca stump up his wages with some sort of agreement for the summer then it can't be bad for us.

Torres is injured at the moment and Jesus can’t play this weekend. Say one of Mahrez, Grealish or Foden gets injured today then we’d be very low on numbers. What’s to say we won’t be in a similar position in Jan? We have the smallest squad in the league. Suicidal to let him go on loan.

I think mentally he is out of the door, sadly. With no Sergio banging them in for fun, he has dropped the baton, when he should have blossomed. Defies logic that 5 years with the best finisher ever seen he learnt zero.
