Can’t believe Grealish is giving so much away and getting nothing.

The ref seem to particularly dislike Grealish.

That’s why we needed a striker.

Sterling is on his heels not putting pressure on. He decides the keeper is catching it so isn't alert to him losing it. Piss poor.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

I do agree, but we would of course lose other aspects of our game playing with an out and out striker. Foden, Jesus and Sterling (Torres to a lesser extent) are excellent at pressing for instance.

This is quite a game where a striker is very needed and will be another few this season.
Better said, there will be situations in big games when we will be one down and we need to do more than just control the game.

That's really fucking harsh. He reacted just as quickly as the defender, but the defender was closer to the ball. Sometimes I think you all are just waiting for the slightest excuse to pounce on him. I agree that he is far his old form, but I only see his mistakes highlighted, and often unfairly so.

We are battering these. Only the referee giving every little decision the way of Paris and an unbelievable miss from Bernie and we’d be well happy with the performance and result.

He’s lost some speed as well - that’s not harsh , it’s just true .
