That was different circs Mase, the game was done. The season over.

Chelsea’s season wasn’t over on Sunday and they were trying to injure us from minute one?

C’mon it’s schoolboy stuff Azpul acting like a hard man when in reality there was not one tackle in that game. It’s non contact. The PSG game was edgy after Rhiad finished it but the players saw it coming a mile away. Fernandinho is the last enforcer to ever play in the Prem. And he is also a top footballer.

Did you watch the match Hazy? It wasn’t just him, it was a number of Chelsea players that tried to injure ours.

If we go 2 up and you think PSG won’t start booting us you’re silly.

Course I watched it, Rudiger Twat, but not a hatchet man. If PSG are two down booting us would be job done. We have the best players who see you coming a mile off Mase. I saw nothing unusual from a well beaten side. I will say this he got away with one in the CL final on KDB. That’s what happen to us, refs an media counts say nothing.

I reckon you’re the only person on this forum that thought Chelsea weren’t trying to injure any of our players. Especially Rüdiger.

They set out to inure go in hard on our playmakers.
It was obvious from the first few minutes .

PSG , when losing , decided to do the same .
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Tuchal is the common theme. PSG completely lost their heads last year. In both games.

He was, but it felt like it was already ingrained in them as a team.

If they lose the head again this evening then great.

Hopefully we'll just do our regular steamroller City thing and sweep them aside. Strongest team possible please.

Should be a great watch but Irish TV are showing Porto v Filth!! Why show second rate matches when top drawer is available?

Yes. One debatable decision (probably correct) and one most definitely wrong. paris haven't had a shot since then though.

The ref for tonight is Carlos del Cerro Grande, Spanish (you don't say!)

We've had him 5 times in Chumps league, twice in 18/19 season, once in 19/20 & twice in 20/21

We 14Apr 2021 B Dortmund 1 - 2 Man City 1 yellow to Dortmund (Bellingham)

Tu 03Nov 2020 Man City 3 - 0 Olympiakos 1 yellow to Olympiakos

We 11Dec 2019 Din Zagreb 1 - 4 Man City 1 yellow to Zagreb

We 20Feb 2019 Schalke 2 - 3 Man City Otamendi red card, Edreson & Gen yellows & 3 yellows to them

Tu 23Oct 2018 Shakhtar 0 - 3 Man City Otamendi yellow & 1 yellow to them

Excepting Otamendi, not bad record for this guy with us

Sterling starts, so most probably, is not going to be a win today.
But here is me hoping.

Happy enough with that team. Foden or Jesus for Sterling would be the only change I'd make. Keeping the same back four and midfield 3 is a good thing for me.

What I myself would like to see in this game regarding team selection and what will actually happen are likely to be two very different things.

We will get through the group in the CL. The away game at the pot2 side will not determine qualification. Of course if we win we will be all but assured of a place in the last 16. And if we beat Paris twice they themselves drop down into the Europa League

For me, the game at the dippers could go a long way in shaping the PL title. A win there again will give us a massive boost over them and they will know we have their measure and more. And equally, if we succumb to them it could give them the upper hand. So the more important fixture is the weekend trip to dippers and as such I’d like to see most of the team who will play in that rested for PSG. But I suspect we will play our strongest XI tonight

Surprised he didn't leave Bernardo and Rodri out ahead of Sunday.
Why Sterling is ahead of Torres at the moment I'll never know.
