I can't recall seeing a player in this form in our new era.

Yet for England he's on fire. What the fuck is that about?

The kids in defence were nervy to begin but each one of them playing with more passion and drive than Raheem.

He wasn’t on fire though - overhyped .
He played well in 2 games and average in the last one .

This is the truth. I like him but he wasn’t that great for England. Scored a few important goals and played a key part but not on fire.

I almost forgot how a decent left back looks like.
Brings a tear to my eye.

I’m rooting for him but fast losing confidence we’ll see him reach the heights again.

2 goals in 23 games ,so far .
About as wank a record as you can get in our team , who put it on a plate , more often than not .

It's his touch that amazes me. Boots the ball like a schoolboy at least once a game. Wild slashes at the ball, absolutely all over the place. Check out the 2nd goal in the 6-0 Cup Final win. He was on the goal line and nearly hooked it out. Weird.
After the ball was centred, after the whistle blew...

In fairness that applies to anyone who can kick a ball

The lack of VAR is a real improvement to the game.

Torres smashed that as if he was whacking a match day ticket in to his iPhone wallet.
