Grimshaw was decent wasn’t he?

Saw him a few times about 5 yrs back against Chelsea (twice) Reading and Fulham for U18/ EDS, was OK, nothing spectacular, Nmecha on the other hand was great, but think he's evolved with age and hit a plateu?

Grimshaw was loaned out to Hemel Hempstead, who were in the 6th or 7th tier at the time, a couple of seasons ago. He's a Manchester lad, and I doubt (although I can't be sure) that it was for family/personal reasons. So he seems to have totally dropped off the radar. He was at Lommel last season (who we own), who finished mid-table in the Belgian second tier, where he only featured 10 times, all in the second half of the season. I seem to remember Doug rating him highly at one point, although you'd have to trawl the EDS thread to see exactly how long ago that was.

I think it's Lukas who was the higher-rated of the Nmecha brothers. He's still got another year on his contract, and did well at Anderlecht this season.

It was Lukas we saw, forgot he had a brother, can't keep up with all these loanees, just did a quick search and there isn't one definitive list.

There are numerous and none of them show Lukas at Anderlecht any more.

18 goals in 37 games is bloody good going and could see him make the squad instead of another loan may be?

I hope so, he's an allround good egg. I'd put money on him going into management when he's done playing.

If the right player becomes attainable then we will be in for him. Fern won’t be playing much next year.
But his presence and experience in the dressing room and on the training field will be invaluable
