Gutted.
Two best players injured, we're in all comps and very close to being top of the league, its also Jan. Sensible thing to do would be to invest in a decent striker. I know we're not going to, but it could be a game changer for us.

Put Cavani in our set-up and we would be sorted. Cannot understand why the replacement for sergio has not been prioritised it is not GJ that much is obvious.

We are better with a false 9 and pep knows this . We have a decent fixture list the next few games expect some more tinkering from pep . Torres and Mahrez will get plenty of game time until KDB returns and Fernandinho will step up in the big games ie dippers away and spurs at home .

The false 9 is hit and miss with the way we spunk chances. Time and again we have seen in the current run instances where balls are being flashed across the box or to the back post and no-one is there? You cannot teach instinct and a poacher puts most of those chances away. The plus of the false 9 is still teams cannot work it out. I agree on Fern keep him under wraps for scouse and spuds come through those two unscathed and we will be sorted

A huge amount depends on Gundogan Foden and Bernardo in his absence. If Pep runs them too hard they may get injured too. A bit of form from Mahrez and Sterling would help. They have the talent. Maybe Gabby will chip in with some goals. Maybe Sergio will come back in mid February. Maybe. February will be a long difficult month. Need a lot of character.

Not the worst timing as it goes. Gives him a rest ready for the business end of the season
We have players who can cover more than adequately. It's the forward issue that is pressing and could cost us

We're a class act, at least 20% better than anyone else in the league. I personally don't think Mahrez has been as bad as some on here suggest, and as to Gabby and Razza, I think it's a confidence thing with both of them.

Kevin out for 2-3 weeks with a small hamstring tear. Great.
I was really happy when I read that, I was expecting a lot longer. That tweet's now gone, and the official site's saying four to six weeks.
Not happy at all now.
don't believe either - bench for the dippers, starts against Spurs I reckon - Pep wants him back firing on all cylinders for Gladbach

Are we playing better without him ?..just like the season when we got 100 points and he was injured all season?
I think we are and I don't think he should automatically slot in when hes fit enough...Bernardo is linking up well with Gundo and I feel KDB will just upset the rhythm if he comes in.
PeP has a hard choice to make as to when he plays him....barring an injury or if we are losing with 20 mins to play or if we are winning by a couple of goals...I wouldn't play him right now.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Seems outrageous and yet I thought the same thing yesterday. I wonder if the lack of strikers earlier this season put too much pressure on him to pull out the spectacular and it just didn’t suit us?
Tracking back is overrated.

It's going to be a nice problem to have. There can be no doubt that we have been playing better without him. I think Mase called out Bernie in particular and daft as it seems, perhaps some of the squad have a complex when KDB is in the team and their overall performance drops. The dynamic of Gundo, Foden and Bernie needs to be left alone. We now have Cancelo creating an extra man in midfield whilst also holding down the RB slot. Wide right instead of Mahrez but that gets in the way of Foden and or Sterling. I imagine we wil continue to be seeing games out from 60 mins or so and maybe Gundo gets a rest at that point. Others must be looking at us and thinking what happens when KDB and Aguero are back fuck me happy days. Wont be long til our friends in the media start with their games Kev off to Madrid with Laporte etc

The season we got 100 points he played 37 games and was awesome.
It was the season after when we got the 98 points and the treble that he missed half the season and Bernie came into his own.
Nice problem to have though.
