Don’t want to tempt it but the whole defence is playing well. Ake seems assured whilst Stones is anchoring the back four. Seeing as Mendy and Walker are basically playing on the wing they’ve done some great defensive work.

I am trying to chose how I will call Ake: Rijkaard or Gulit.
Joke aside, his movement is really great so far. Very solid and reliable, so maybe that is why Walker and Mendy are going up.

Our pass and move has been sublime and with so many players changing position Wolves must be dizzy. We’ve got forwards dropping deep while our defenders swap positions and are sometimes the furthest forward. Walker pulls inside, Kev turns to left-back, taking over from Rodders, and Fern moves to the number 10 position.
