He really must be on his way. After all the goodbyes he said yesterday and today.
Finally on leaving the ground , he said goodbye to the tea ladies. Sad and distraught as they were to see him go he said "Don't cry for me Marge and Tina".

This week , i have been mostly wearing my coat.

But the answer they give is not that he is in decline, so he could still sign for Liverpool

If he signs we all know that the narrative will immediately change and that the knives will be out.

It will be exactly as it was when Pep arrived. When he arrived, it was "can he play his brand of football in England?"

After he won the first 7 games the media were practically sucking his cock begging him to say the English League was the best in Europe and his toughest challenge. A month later and a few loses, and it was back to "only done it when he's taken over great sides"

I quietly hope that soon the saga will end and Manchester City will win Messi. AS write that Jorge Messi has already left Argentina and should meet Bartomeu tomorrow.

Messi’s dad has said he “doesn’t know” if Messi is going to stay at Barca. He’ll 100% be staying I guarantee it. We let these clowns take the piss out of us all the time. It’s pathetic.

IF Messi senior is in Barcelona then it points to a resolution one way or the other. He is not going to weaken his bargaining position by saying that he's off is he?

No-one knows what is going to happen here but if the negativity in the press is anything to go by, he is on the move

In what way does saying he’s going weaken his bargaining power mate?

Guaranteed he signs a new deal with Barca before the end of the week.

I don't mind it that much, Mase to be honest, as all of the PR around this was and is in our favour.
I will take this and every sane fan of us and other teams should take it: One of the best players ever wanted to join only us, if he left the club that meant everything to him. Simple. Just us.

I don't see how we can get out bad from this.

And regarding his dad, those are mind games, I would have been surprise if he said that his son wants to leave. They want to make the club look bad, not the player.

The cynic in me tells me we are being played like a violin, I posted something to that effect last week, I think Notts agreed, hope I am 1000% wrong

As I said before - I really don’t think Messi would use Pep in that way, but who knows, at the end of the day, we’re addressing the part of the pitch that needed sorting and we will either stat5the season with Messi in the ranks, or we won’t - we will still be favourites fir the league

IF we are being played by camp Messi, then Messi senior wants to keep both sides sweet hes not going to show us his cards the first time as he wants a counter from Barca if that's where he wants to be
He / they can whistle out of their arses if we ARE being fucked about, my gut is saying not as he is burning bridges with Pep and I doubt he would do that?
