Can’t see Pep going to Barca if he’s not coming. I can however see Pep going to Barca to try and sort out the issues Barca have at the moment - as in sit in on meetings etc. He’s Barca through and through.

Used for what exactly? If it's money he's after, the Rags and PSG would fit the narrative more than us seeing some of their players are on obscene wages, our top earner is on half what Messi is on!
This is different, I get what you're saying we've been used before or should say our name. However, he never put a request to leave (stand corrected) until now and I don't see a way back for him. Do you really think he's short on cash? Some might say it's to gain more political power, well that argument is dead, I genuinely believe he wants to win more trophies before he retires and no way he'll achieve that at Barcelona at their current state.
The move might not materialise and he'll end up going elsewhere but we stand a good chance.

Don't know how this will end, but when it is a rumor that (maybe) the best player ever wants to join City and only City it shows how fucking much we progressed.
44 years without a title to having 50 % chances of getting the best player ever.

It's good to be a City fan.

If it's as acrimonious as is being widely reported, there's no way Messi stick around another season.

But I don't think it's as acrimonious as it is being reported but that is the sceptic in me as we've been here twice before.

It's now or never and it won't be week's, a decision one way or other is going to be days away.

The picture of Pep in Barca could have been taken anywhere any time IMO so unless a creditable photo from a reliable source I doubt he is there.

Even if he is, maybe he's been back to see his family?

Anyway welcome to the site G48, hope to see you posting more

Would anyone be shocked if Messi stayed at Barca, Koeman and the president resigned and Pep was installed as manager?

Who knows if he will come, but it's a laugh listening to the red shite's fans and hangers-on trying to spin it against us
