Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I was at the game & he was exactly that. Whatever he may say, if we hadn't have changed, we would have lost the game.
Sad truth is following his injury at the Olympics, he never recovered his game, came back bulked up like a body builder & seemed to have lost his pace. He was never a natural, bit like Lescott, made it in the game with mainly physical attributes and when he lost them he was never going to get back his place on a regular basis. His only chance is to move out of the spotlight & try & rebuild his career.
Hope he does he deserves to, but can't understand the bitterness, after all, City gave him his chance & paid his wages for 2 largely unproductive years for us, earning probably more in that time than I have earned in my lifetime

Micah and Rodwell both. They had the excuse of both coming back from injury, but it was a chance for them to get back into the manager's thinking. They were both so poor I think that, and their injury records, really started the process led to the decision to sell them this window. we rarely saw them afterwards.

I'm pretty sure that's that match where Pellegrini made his mind up to get rid of them both.

Some selective memory stuff from Micah there a la Steven Ireland when he was sold off, correctly - how has he fared since btw?
Micah was yanked against Watford because he was fookin shite, fact. He went off and we were 2-0 down. We ended up winning 4-2 so how in the world he can justify being "victimised" is beyond me.
The reason he didn't play much in the past 2 seasons is down to three principle reasons
1) He was always injured
2) When he did play he was bloody awful
3) Zabaleta is a far superior player in every aspect of the game, save for stupid swallow diving leaps when tackled
The club progressed upwards over the past 5 years, Micah stood still and then went backwards. Good luck at Fiorentina but the lack of any other top 6 club in England coming in for him tells you quite a lot.

At half time we took off Rodwell and Micah who were both playing like Dogshit and we brought Vinny and Zaba on and turned it around. Zaba's performance in that second half in comparison to Micahs first half was the day I knew he would never oust Zaba from the RB position.

On the subject of Micah's appearance on this site, if you go on to the wayback machine
http://archive.org/web/ and select the oldest mancityfans.net entry, the interview is on the first page.
Can't find Andrew Davies though!
