Apologies to all who I offended.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Apologies to all who I offended.

Postby CITYTILLIDIE11 » Thu Nov 12, 2009 11:44 pm

Apologies to all who I offended.

(cough, splutter takes deep breath………………clears throat )

After watching the game for a second time, I realise that a bit like Stilton Cheese watching City these days is an Acquired taste, some will like what they see and see much progress in the performances and results like the draws against Wigan,Fulham,Birmingham, and Burnley, and others like me just don’t appreciate the progress we are making on and off the pitch, maybe it says more about me, than you football connoisseurs maybe some of you are people who appreciate a full bodied wine whilst I prefer a can off Stella.

Only 2 defeats in the last 7,and Tonight’s result does not really count because it was only a friendly

I am going to try and stop talking nonsense and embarrassing myself, I am going to try and see the bigger picture if you like, at the end off the day Mark and his backroom staff are trying so fcuking hard to turn us in to a hard to beat Blackburn type side and all I do is fcuking complain about it.

Cook tonight has said that Hughes has the same mental strength as Sir Alex we are so very lucky, I now realise that.

Apologies once again

Onwards and upwards with Sparky.

I'd like to believe you ...... but I keep looking for the wind up somewhere.

You should just chillax. The results might not be what we all want but the football is still good to watch and we certainly entertain more than MH's B'burn could have ever dreamed of doing.

It's early days yet, don't judge on a match to match basis and have some patience whilst he attempts to gel the players.

If he does turn out to be crap, so we will get someone else in due course but give him a chance .... just like the owners are.

You've waited 30 years so far ..... what difference will another few make.

It will happen ..... eventually ..... it's innevitable ....... money always talks in the end.

But to be serious we are indeed blessed for Hughes is the messiah and the one who shall lead our blue bretheren into the promised land and upon its riches we shall feed mightily and repleat we shall sink to the ground and look up into the sky to see the annonited most holy who said let there be light...

I see the light……..oh lordy lord, I see the light………………...

I was blind but now I see (metaphorically speaking of course and in no way meant as a piss take or trivialising blindness).

That explains your feelings then ..... you are into religion!

That's why you believe in miracles and thus believe that MH should be able to turn water into wine ....... in just a few months.

Sorry to disillusion you ..... but it just doesn't happen mate, it never did.

No catch mate.

I am going to try with the P M A ( POSSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE )

From now on I intend to see the bigger picture.

I can’t wait to play Liverpool, we should batter them because they are in decline and we are definitely on the up.

Like I said wtf do I know about football.

Cook says Hughes has the mental strength of Sir Alex that will do for me, maybe one day we will be like United.

Wouldn’t that be great we could actually have a manager with the same qualities as Sir Alex at our club

What a comparison to make.

I just didn’t get it ffs

I am going to ignore you Sir.

You have come on to this board to try and corrupt me.

I have been converted for about 40 minutes.

Get with the program or

“thout shalt feel the wrath of those, that thou art believe in the chosen one, you shalt be cast in to the wilderness and deprived of the rich pickings which the believers will soon pick.

( or something like that)

Aaah ..... now I see your angle!

However much we all hate Ferguscum ...... we can't argue that he has been phenomenally successful for Yoonited over the years. I would be happy if over the next 10 yeard we won half of what they have done in the last 10 years.

You know, sometimes you can learn bits and bobs from your enemies and competitors. Provided you don't let your hatred blind you to the possibilities though.

Unfortunately, you fit in to that category.

The irony of apologising for winding people up on your biggest wind up yet is great.

Do you cut yourself after games by any chance?

If people are genuinely offended by something they've read on a messageboard I'm not really sure that they should be here.

You're clearly out to wind people up. You have an agenda. And people can see this and some people get annoyed.

If you want to keep crusading then do it until your heart's content. Don't falsely try and apologise to people like this though. It makes your WUM veil see through.

Are you suggesting that Hughes is only half as good as Satan himself?

That is heresy brother, heresy. For it is surely written in the Book of Jobsworthy that none shall question the King of Kings nor diminsh his achievements nor question his word.

Do you mean self flagellation ?

Tomorrow thou shalt light a couple of candles in thy shed, get on to thy knees and self flagellate myself with a motor bike chain for my sins, whilst screaming for forgiveness.

How many lashes do you think I deserve for spewing out my heretic utterances?

I must admit, the same thought had occurred to me on several occasions. Andrew Davies lives on.

No need to apologies at all you have every right to say what you think, Hughes out or Hughes in does not matter only one man will make that decision. The result of last nights match his not important but the performance might be, it was only a friendly to you and me but to H.R.H. he was looking at his team for the first time would he have been impressed. If you or i had bought a house for 150k and the roof leaked would anyone buy another house or repaire the roof the roof in this case is the manager. No doubt this is over the heads of the Hughes in brigade but i think the Sheik as plenty of time between now and this time next year because if Hughes takes them back next year and gives the same preformance he will be gone soon after, this might sound like a Hughes out post but it isn't Hughes as got to understand that the man who pays the bills will want a lot better then this load of dross that was served up for him last night.

I know it wasn't a hughes out post, as you repaired the roof, you didnt replace it. Well done your coming round to the realistic way of thinking. Just got to get your Dad on board now.
