Wilfred Zaha to United for £15m this morning ... is that too expensive or a great buy? Price aside, they are moving forward ... what are our guys doing?

I think they have paid a ridiculous amount of money on him, a third of the price would have been a good deal for Palcae. It can hardly be said that he has even been a big hit in the championship yet.I really can't see what the fuss is all about, if he was playing out of his skin week in week out i could understand.

What do you expect our guys to do anyway? I certainly don't want to see another last minute spending spree like we saw in the summer where we buy players that don't really improve the team.

When asked on the possibility of players coming in, Mancini said: "I think it is difficult."

He then went on not to mention Brian Marwood at all.

I think that cases of a Top Club, achieving fine according to plans like City are, making signing in january windows are extremely rare.
Top Clubs always stand by the window, overlooking potential bargains which rarely arise, and that's it: it's always been and will be.
It may be a negative post on a "January Transfer Window" thread, but it's nothing short from reality.

Btw, I've just listened the pre Stoke presser, whereas I've been amused by what appears the new mantra of the rags wankers: "Txiki is pushing on Bob to impose what style of play (4-3-3 apparently) Mancini should apply"
Let's see how many threads will be starting on the arguments while the title race warms up.... :-)

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

To connect to what we were talking about before, it's like they sometimes intentionally want to marginalize their importance in society by being so predictable.

Scapuzzi's apparently gone out on loan to some Serie B club (Varese 1910). Don't know if it's been posted on here before, but I've got a strong suspicion it hasn't...

So what's up with Galatasaray chasing Kolo? Has this even been mentioned here? Surfaced around the time of the Drogba talk, with that deal done now & Sneijder signing earlier, could there be something to this?

considering how cheap schieder was going, we should have got him, as long as he would have taken a wage cut and not something silly.

this is getting a little repetitive.....

i'm sure we'll do one out of the blue -- see what i..d--, oh, nevermind -- signing this week that we won't expect and can't make sense of and it'll cost less than 10M...

Reading make loan bid for City striker

Vital Reading understands that Reading have made a loan bid for Manchester City's John Guidetti.

The Swedish international was watched by officials from Reading in their under 21 encounter with City two weeks ago, where the forward scored in City's 3-1 victory. A loan bid has been made for Guidetti, with Jason Roberts struggling for fitness and Simon Church surplus to requirements at the Madejski Stadium.

Guidetti spent last season on loan at Dutch top division side Feyenoord, where he scored a very impressive 20 goals in 23 appearances. The 20-year old is very renowned at Manchester City, despite only making one appearance for the club in the League Cup.

I guess we signed an 18 year old Ghanaian,

Premier League champions Manchester City have announced the signing of Ghanaian youngster Godsway Donyoh.

The 18-year-old was signed by City after having received his breakthrough at a Ghanian charity organisation called the Right to Dream Academy.

After penning a contract at Eastlands, he has immediately been loaned out to Swedish outfit Djurgardens for the rest of the year.

Djurgardens manager Magnus Pehrsson said: "The combination that Donyoh is a talented player who fits into our style of play, and that Manchester City believes in him, makes him an interesting addition to our squad."
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Who we can't get here due to work permit issues (as 4-5 others we own from this Dreams something academy) so as the rest we loan him out to Scandinavian clubs who can get their work permits ... I don't know why we are collecting them? as a side business??
